Crazy how Mike Miller constantly downplays how good he was. Memphis and Orlando Mike Miller could ball. I would love to have prime Memphis Mike Miller on the Heat.
That’s not to say that Heat Mike Miller wasn’t good, because he was. However, at that point he was pretty much just a spot up shooter. He was more well rounded in Memphis.
Yeah he was solid in Orlando for sure too but he was exactly what we needed when he came to Miami. Same thing w Shane, walker, GP. All didn’t have that extra level anymore but still did what they did well
Same with young Battier in Memphis/Houston

Celtics fan here and I know Haslem has never liked Boston, but I have always respected UD. He’s the type of guy that any fanbase would love if he played for their team and whose contributions didn’t always show up on the stat sheet. I would argue that Haslem was actually the third best player on the 2006 Heat behind Wade and Shaq.

I've been saying since the playoffs started that the Celtics aren't what everyone thinks. They're counterfeit. They can't beat any of the teams out of the west. They're very lucky is what they are. UD, you didn’t give any example of a player going from the nba to the nfl. Those players didnt have success in college, then went on to train for football. I have yet to see anyone give an example of an nba player going to the nfl and having success
