If you're looking for tanks to see up close, there are two variants of the M 48 series in Augusta, Maine. One is a late model M 48 A5 outside the west gate of Camp Keyes at the airport. The other is an early model, possibly an M 48 A2, about a mile away outside the American Legion Hall at 294 Capitol Street.

That one outside the American Legion hall is an M48A1 - used to be on one of those in the Vermont Guard back in 1971

That particular M60A3 was last stationed with a Reserve unit, Troop D, 5th Armored Cav, 187th Inf Bde (Sep) at Fort Devens from 1986 to 1993. Believe it was assigned to 1st Platoon.
