Probably Death 💀 with Storm ⛈️ I've always been fascinated with this combination and I think it would be super cracked to see storm lord -> drain play if players don't expect stuns from a primary death wizard. Imagine having max pips and pip-conserving on a storm lord, getting the stun, and then going straight into Dr Von. Broken.
The strongest ones are probably storm with myth mastery and life with ice mastery. Storm with myth mastery can convert shields and weaknesses to traps and then prism for tons of damage. Life with ice mastery can get tons of free towers and heals and will be really hard to take down with high health + high heal boost.
If storm doesnt get fixed, im SO hyped to see storm/death combos. I dont like how storm relies so hard on overtime heals and weaknesses, so storm wizards are basically forced to either run life or death masteries
Really good amulets! The offensive schools earn some resist and the defensive ones lose some. Also you don't need the 3 piece goons for the conserve, the amulets have better. But of course you lose the damage. Fire on the other hand gain +4% damage only from the new lemuria boots, so you don't lose that much. Also you earn some shad and the +1% pip. I hope too that they need to let the amulets to be free or very cheap, but i think they will not do that unfortunately. Thank you for the video
I can easily see these mastery amulets buffing treasure cards indirectly. Now that every school can have mastery to a second school, tc will be much more valuable. Imagine a myth wizard casting Medusa followed by tc Efreet since they can’t obviously train the spell but get access to certain spells through tc. The combo potential is just insane not even for just the roshambo spells but an entire schools identity of spells
To be honest, I thought I had just rage quit PvP, because of Motorist Robe, PTW gear, and the addition of all these new Lemuria spells was even more discouraging. This amulet thing might change my mind. I can imagine coming up with some pretty annoying tactics as a Balance with Death or Ice Mastery. I got my first Warlord rank with an Ice mastery.

Im personally a fan of these amulets. They are realativley strong and I see most schools using them. Personally, I have a hard time giving up 4 pip aoe's but I might have to. Its gonna add a ton of diversity, and im on board with making them free. Im most excited to try life with balance mastery!

@@CashTag17 True and true but you got to remember they are going to have to sacrifice stats to get enough outgoing for the healing to even matter. I feel most offensive schools wouldn't have a problem with it since they can easily bait out the weak heal, and buff while doing so; and death shouldn't either for obvious reasons (easier said then done obv depending on their set up). I feel the only way it'll really have an impact is vs balance and ice maybe? It'll still be a viable strategy for sure, but I can't see it getting to the point where literal hours could be spent. Especially when it's harder to spam shields due to roshambo. I feel brace will be the biggest factor for them being annoying. Edit: If it does turn into a meta, it'll be interesting since people would start using the death masteries for infection and such, I feel this'll be a interesting meta in the future, kind of excited! (But obviously hoping it doesn't become 40 minute matches everytime)
yeah thats definitely a legitimate concern however i think you'll see a lot more people running anti-healing spells like infection and if people abuse or exploit the timer the devs will adjust it accordingly its super difficult to balance healing across the board so that its not OP but also not too weak but I hope the devs figure out the right balance
it says 4th age so its def not going to be expensive, but with all of these changes I think that they should go over on 5th age, gear doesnt need to be added right away, I just want a rank reset.
These amulets should tide you over until 5th Age - at which point they'll be retired along with all the rest of the 4th Age gear. Our long term plans for mastery amulets won't be as "direct" as what we're offering you now, for the explicit purposes of testing rhoshambo+mastery. What *will* be consistent is that we want players to be able to explore mastery, with options that are accessible, balanced, and desirable.
yeah i dont think anyone would have a problem with that but they want to encourage people to beat the game and then do pvp so it makes sense that they made it 150+
true but then you'll go against other players in similar circumstances as u with the new ELO system that takes a myriad of factors into account like play time, matches played in the last 30 days, etc.
nah i dont think so - they even talked about adding leagues where you could do first age pvp for ex (im assuming u would be able to do this on any level character with some kind of minimum level requirement) but their main focus as of right now is to fix the game which implies the current meta at max level

Im starting to grieve the EU servers since they wont see the day where pvp is fixed like this.....last time i played pvp was when loremaster was still spammed.
I feel like these give too good of stats. Why would you run a normal amulet when you could just run this for essentially no sacrifice to get other schools utilities.
at least its universal across the board and i think the intention of these masteries (and the roshambo meta as a whole) is to encourage this type of gameplay - making these amulets a must have is a good idea imo since its even for all schools/players and it will add a ton of diversity and variety to PvP
To be honest i hate the new direction the pvp is getting, with these new amulets, everyone will heal. Every school can reach like 45 incoming and outgoing too with all the square jewels that give 6 ir 7 incoming each one. And if they wear the harlequin tunic robe which gives 20 more imcoming, they can reach like 70 incoming. You all ( not you especially ) but everyone is like going crazy happy with these amulets but u dont understand how much healing will take place from all schools cause now there is no punishment to healing ( diego stuff ) and everyone will heal.

That's what i think too... If you click your cards fast and spam satyrs you can't get defeated AND you won't lose to "timer" ...

Multiple schools use threefold fever, so this shouldn't be a problem.

I honestly think they should be 130+. It'd make more sense since 130 is the end of the third arc and 150 just seems like a random level to me.
