As a Ravens fan whos mom is from North Ohio I love this. I always felt that nobody gave Flacco any credit for the Ravens success during his run there.

I'll go you one better: Flacco had scorn heaped upon him because he wasn't "elite" by others' metrics but was one of the highest paid players in the league. No one ever thought to consider he was elite for the Ravens. I'm glad to see this resurgence
I always thought he was a very good qb. I just never liked his attitude.
Bengals fan, I was actually jealous when the Browns signed Flacco just because he’s a vet who’s earned a ring. And now he’s balling out. Only time will tell if he ends up going from hot to cold like most the back ups have this year.
I think what we’re seeing is a man with the football knowledge of a 40 year old veteran with the in destroyed body of a 30 year old or so. Those years Flacco wasn’t playing hard football are paying off in still having a healthy body to pair with a keen mind.
@@cjwild1 Yeah all that rest without the wear and tear of taking football hits on his body is probably paying huge dividends on top of all his years of NFL football experience. As a 49ers fan I find the Flacco/Browns story and their underdog status this year being one of the hottest teams in football quite fascinating.
As a Steelers fan I WANT to hate this… but I can’t. Kind of jealous actually, all of these teams looking for the next guy to take them all the way (your Broncos sold the kingdom for Russ, Browns for Watson, etc) when Joe Flacco was sitting on his couch, ready to be the greatest to throw the rock in Cleveland. Joe is by far the most humble, honest NFL player I've come across in my lifetime. This makes me so happy and I am not a Browns fan by any means.
I find myself frequently comparing, in my thoughts, Flacco to Mahomes in terms of character and maturity. Pat is a man-child with his tantrums, etc., whereas Joe is a full-grown man who handles himself as an emotionally mature and stable person.
He's been called Joe Cool since Baltimore.

Elijah Moore deserves a huge shoutout with the way he stepped up as well. He went out with a really bad looking concussion and thankfully could walk off the field. I think his name was avoided after that, but he did work with Flacco in the first half.

As a Pats fan I didn't like the Ravens but I respected them as the most competent, "scary" team we faced with Brady. And I never had a problem with Flacco. Always a professional. Always doing his job. Never talking unnecessary shit.

This little run might actually do a good bit for Flacco’s legacy. He’s always been seen as not as good as the contracts, trophies and accolades make him out to be, but the fact that he’s out here leading a good team at the age of 38 has a lot of people impressed.
One of the best football stories we've had here in years. We still talk about Don Strock coming from a Florida golf course to take the Browns to the playoffs in 1988. Joe will be remembered as well for coming off the couch at his home in NJ.
