So many details into making a vent. Many skills are involved from dexterity to memory because one really does have to remember and keep in mind so many passages 😱. Beautiful work and great explanation. Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the detailed and clear explanation on how to make vents on a bespoke jacket. Very useful techniques.I am looking forward to starting on my next jacket. Thank you. Dee
Thanks for these videos Lee, been putting off finishing my coat for a while now but videos like these keep me motivated when I'm unsure about a part of the process 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Is there a particular type of linen to use, or is just a regular cheap linen fine? Or do you starch it to make it crisp?
You can use any type doesn’t have to be expensive. I use this type it’s not the cheapest out there but I like it. 32" Linen Holland - Black - 1 meter Product/Shade: 025-06 www.theliningcompany.co.uk/trimmings/flax-linen-selection/32-linen-holland/
@@LeeMarshsavilerow oh wow thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Would it be best to use linen on cuffs too? I know people use pocketing fabric, just not sure about linen. I know I'm asking a lot of question, im sorry.
@@LeeMarshsavilerow thanks! Would muslin be an acceptable substitute for silesia when doing cuffs? Its sorta hard to get ahold of 100% cotton silesia in the US to just experiment with unless I want to pay for 25$ for a yard for something that might not work out. I was checking out the Saville Row Jacket MasterClass, Do you run occasionally run promotions on the classes every now and then? It's a subject im greatly interested in but im currently 19 so things are kinda tight at the moment monetarily and you cant really find too much info out there on this kinda of stuff.
@@thatxonexguy5438 You can use muslin as long as you shrink it first, should be fine after that. I do a 15% discount for students or anyone 19 or under😊
Ali Esmaeil Hi Ali, I use block sleeve patterns..if you check out my other video on how to be a coat maker I recommend a cutting book there that will show you how to do it👍🏾
