Brett, I love your voice and music. I am encouraged with my journey of learning the guitar and singing. I didn't realize that music ran in our family. I don't know about Uncle David, but I know my dad didn't have any musical talent. Thanks for posting this!!!!
@@saintofsunsets I lead worship at our church now. I am not a great guitarist, but I want to learn more. Thank's for the encouragement. Love you cousin!
Absolutely! I will! Will you ever come to America? This music stuff is hard, man! It requires constant practice and improvement. I understand how you feel!
I'm alright! Just planning my return to Los Angeles here very soon. I'm excited to get back into action :). You're in Latvia, right? I've met many awesome people from Latvia!
Hey! I would love to do another film about music! Or any film, really. No plans at this point, but I am about to move down to Los Angeles again so I'm sure there will be plenty more opportunities. Right now I'm just focusing on producing and writing music! What sort of stuff are you into? -B
Hi, Brett! 🤩 I've watched Beck this morning and saw you there and tried to search about you here on YT and I found this. I just want to ask how are you or what are you up to right now? ☺️ Btw, I love your voice and I truly appreciate/admire your talent in playing guitar.😍🤘 Is this your original composition/song? I love it! It's just sad that it took me years to discover the film, also to see how brilliant you guys are.🥺☹️ Well, better late than never.🤘🎸
Sorry this took forever to reply to! I'm currently producing & writing for a bunch of artists in many different countries, and about to start putting out solo music again for the first time in many years :). And thank you so much for saying that!
Cool :). I'll let you know when I post more. Well I traveled for a long time as a fashion model, so I met many beautiful models from Latvia when I was working!
Cool, vibe, brother! You guys kinda remind me of the Beatles, or some indie rock bands from America! I would love to come to Indonesia sometime :). I've thought about it many times before. How do you like it there?
Hey :). Yea, the traveling was awesome. My sister was in an agency and they asked me to start... it was that simple :). Are you interested in doing it?
Brett Pemberton damn, you replied lol.. I see you're actually playing an instrument huh.. do a cover of "dying breed - I call you love" then... what do you say EDDIE?
Brett Pemberton I've recently read the manga and the continuation of the movie is beck goes to America and got big there so if they make a sequel they need lot of budget to shoot in america ? And heres what I'm curious about the movie since I started watching it years ago..Did koyuki really sing on the set? Cause his voice is mute in the movie lol what a joke. And did the cast actually plays the instrument on the set? Like when the dying breed invite koyuki to sings on the stage ..They really make it a show or what? And can you speak Japanese? These is very long question , I hope you answers them 😂😂
antstein nietstna hey! They are great questions. First, the reason the 2nd and 3rd movies were not created was because Hiro Mizushima’s wife became very sick and he felt the need to step down from acting for a while to take care of her, so the movies were stopped. About the performance from Koyuki, great question. The director and producers felt that Koyuki’s Voice was supposed to be so amazing that no one they knew could ever sound that great in real life, so they decided to leave it muted so that the audience could imagine what a perfect voice would sound like. I agree it’s a little strange but I also understand their artistic concept. Lastly, about playing live, yes we all performed as if it were a real concert - I have been playing guitar for 25 years and am a professional music producer in Los Angeles. Ray (Hiro) learned how to play guitar for he role. He had an amazing guitar teacher on the film set who taught ‘Beck’ how to play. When they invited Koyuki on stage at the Dying Breed Show, we really performed - but of course they have a professionally recorded version for the movie (necessary for the editing process). Hope this helps! Fun chatting with you for sure.
