    I've had one for about 5 years and it still works well. Simple to use and simple to clean. I have a small shop vac. hanging in the garage that I vacuum off the filter inside instead of washing it all the time. Which works great. One thing you didn't show is the trigger on the back that allows you to bend the handle shaft in half so you can get further under things without bending over much like the bed you vacuumed around. Pull the trigger and you can bend it in two directions. I don't recall you doing that other than for storage. Either you forgot to show or maybe you didn't realize. For the price, it's pretty good. When mine dies someday and I can't fix or replace the batteries, I will buy another one. Yes, it should be fully cleaned once in a while as with any vacuum. Just take the head apart and clean it well. One thing I do notice is the wheels don't turn that well. Not sure what the issue is, but not a big deal. Thanks for the review as I have passed it along to someone I know that's looking for a new stick vac. and now she wants me to pick one up for her. lol Which I will.

      Hey thanks for that tip. I did not realize you could do that. I'm going to try it.

      I have the same one for about 5 years. And I clean my filter the same way as you do. One thing I have to do occasionally is remove the beater bar and clean both ends where it slots into place. If it gets filled up it will stop running and the light will blink red. That happened to mine not long after I got it. Then I did a search and found a video by Bissell explaining how to fix it. But now the plastic screw will no longer go in it. But the thing will stay in place anyway without that screw. I’m looking for a newer one because I’m thinking my battery may not last much longer even though it’s still working now. I bought mine at Target and it was a lot cheaper than the one in the link that he has.

      @@linda1541 Before you head out to pick up another one. If this one isn't too old then you might be able to change the batteries. As for the beater bar, yes I do the same. Cool about the video for fixing a problem. I wish you would have posted the link. Like to have a look. I just bought another one for a friend and a new one for myself as they were on sale and I know they don't last forever and the first one I bought was not long after they came out. I called Bissell and asked about having replaceable batteries. They said they were going to look into if and I believe now they do. So I'm hoping that the new ones we just got have the new replaceable batteries. I think they do.

      20 Min, that is a short time. Ours goes much longer. I'll have to time it and see how long

    Very nice review thank you! We are looking for a small cordless vac for our church carpet, after coffee hour it can be very crumby😊 if it will pick up pet hair I’m sure it will pick up crumbs just fine, thanks so much. They’re on sale so I’m getting one too.

    I just bought this yesterday and I'm going on my 2nd charge in less than 24 hours. The battery doesn't stay charged long at all. I may have picked up a bad one so I'm going to exchange it and try one more. Ugh. Edit: I forgot to mention that it works very well, I couldn't believe the little cup when I got finished with just a few passes.

      Our battery has good life. It will run 30 to 45 minutes.

      @@thistlehillfarmstead9131 I took it back the other day but they didn't have anymore so as soon as they get more in I'm going to grab another one and try it and see how it does. It picks up great so I'm just hoping I got one with a bad battery.

    My roller brush is not spinning, have removed and clean the roller, still does not spin. How do you remove the brush roller cover?

    • @thistlehillfarmstead9131
      @thistlehillfarmstead9131  Рік тому

      On the bottom there is a small purple screw with a lock/unlock symbol. Just turn that with a screwdriver or small coin and it should open allowing you to remove the roller brush.

      We have had the vacuum for almost a year now and the only problem I have had is that pet hair eventually got wrapped around the beater bar and it stopped spinning. I had to remove it and clean off all the hair that was wrapped around it.

    Curious how your internal hose in the foot assembly held up? I've had two same issue and you can't get to it to repair or replace.

    The beater brush will push stuff behind the machine back… turn it off and it will suck everything up…

      Yes. Its a Wet/Dry Vac

    • @perfectionnotallowed6093
      @perfectionnotallowed6093 2 роки тому +3

      No ma’am. This is NOT a wet/dry vac. I have this vacuum. The manual says dry and indoor surfaces only. Please be careful. 💜
      You would do better with a Bissell Crosswave for your stains. It can vacuum wet and dry things, as well as clean area rugs. They make a cordless version of it as well. I have the X7 Pet model. I can’t live without it. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats. It’s a lifesaver for random wet messes. I just grab it off the charger, suction up the mess, and just rinse out the cup later. 😌
