I graduated from IIT Bombay but did not go back at all except once. To me Bombay is a wasteland. There's nothing in it except buildings, vehicles and people. I did not find anything good at all about the city. When I joined the Civil Service, they took us on a tour of india (it is called Bharat Darshan) and that was the only time I visited the city. They put us up on a naval base and I was literally counting hours before we could leave. I wouldn't live and work in Bombay for a million dollars. It's population is 24 million. Wtf. Today I have my house on half an acre in north india and I am happy.
And the fact that there's a real elitist culture. Every person thinks Northeners are low-class and Southeners are high-class. There's a real discrimination problem i have seen here. Townies will dislike suburbs, western suburbs dislike Eastern suburbs, etc.

Not one scratch, this is great skills in traffic. I think it comes second if you drive right or left stick in this environment. They all drive better than Russians and Danish drivers, The difference between Russian and Danish drivers is that Danes drives rotten when they are sober.
This is the wonderful Hindustan Ambassador, or originally a Morris Oxford, build with the same tools as the original Morris in England. There are a few upgrades on the newest models like safety equipment, but it is like the original old car. The Royal Enfield mortorcycles in India are in the same way made on tools from England where all but the bricks where moved to India, The Indian version includes a Diesel upgrade of the original engine. I don't know about the car, But the Enfield can be ordered and registered all over the world and many entusiasts do. I would love to get my hands on the Hindustan-Morris but the rules for registration in EU are very strict. In 2050 i am afraid the last fossile fuel engines will be banned new as well as the imports and used versions.

Future is bright for Mumbai, it is financial capital of India. As India's economy is growing Mumbai will also devolope at that rate.
