Greetings from Scotland! Diana can not speak Arabic and she learned this song by listening to it. This is how she learns to sing most foreign language songs. I wish I could be as smart as she is! 😊 If I listened to it 1,000 times, 1,000,000 times I would not be able to sing it! 😊 Personally I absolutely love to hear Diana singing in English with her beautiful Russian accent, it adds to the song!

Hi,
Other Arabic speakers have said that Diana doesn't make some sounds correctly, but all words are understandable. One guy said that he liked her Russian accent; that it made the song sound exotic. This is how I feel about her English songs.
The UAE Ambassador to Russia heard this and invited Diana to The Emirates. She recently traveled to Dubai, but no information has been made public.
Regarding the translations: I am sure that Diana would welcome someone who would be willing to translate her performances into Arabic 😁.

Dalida was Egyptian from italian roots, she spoke perfect arabic. She was forced to leave Egypt when Nasser decided to expel all "foreigners" who for some had lived in Egypt for 4 or 5 generations! She was even been Miss Egypt! She then came to France where she continued and ended her career!

If a foreigner sang a native song in my very difficult language, with such love and beauty, I would die happily. I would never make it a point to highlight how wrong their pronunciation is, especially if they made a huge effort and are not that far off.
Thank you 👏🏼 it's so impolite to emphasize mispronunciation. Actually no foreigner is expected to perfectly pronounce any other language except their mother tongue. Especially if they DON'T learn that language but only a song in it and even after spending years studying a language, very few people can excel pronunciation up to native speakers' level.
Btw I've noticed Arabs, Turks and French are impatient for any errors in their languages
