Full transparency, I've always been a Hush fan, with SolSq and Archange tying for second, and Daredevil kinda being third, but in spite of that, and sounding kinda counter to what the expectation would be, the jump from the mellow intro right to the soloist belting at 2:25 got me feeling something good.

I think it approaches the themes of nationalism and the military industrial complex with a critical eye. As much as a game about blowing up a lot of stuff within a time limit can, anyway.

We always play as the faceless protagonist in all the canon ACE Combat games. However, we all also have grown old playing them. Now, due to real life resoponsibilites, we cannot play as much as we did 20, 15 or even 10 years ago. That passage is not only about Mihaly, but about us, the players of these games too.
