The best thing for scale is 3 n 1 organocide or Neem Oil. Captain Jacks u Is more for Catapiliars ,borers etc. The oil smothers them. Because you wipe them off will remove it ,but you need some form of oil. Good Luck.
Hi, I live in a northern climate and move my meyer lemon tree in for the winter. The scale infestation that it got has taken a toll on my tree. I have been wiping the tree to clear the scale but it keeps popping up. Did that spray work? Thanks ahead of time.
I live in Vista as well have nothing but problems with scale with the orange tree tangerine lemon and grapefruit I used a little bit of soap with a little bit of peroxide and rubbing alcohol that killed the scale but the trees still don't look very good I have to do it every spring and all summer I'm thinking of just getting rid of the citrus! And it also attacks my red Indonesian guava! I need to get sprinklers for all the trees and everything do you know anybody?

You've got to control the ants- they farm the scale and spread it.
