Urdu is an agglomeration of ‘hindi & Persian (Farsi)’ for the soldiers to communicate based in ‘Awadh’ (Delhi Lucknow region). ‘Persians’ were one of the tribes mentioned in ‘rigved’. The script was later changed to ‘Arabic’ but one can find ancient scripts of urdu written in ‘Devanagari’ (hindi)

Rekhta is the old name of Urdu. It was used in the 1800s only later it changed to Urdu. As for Jashn e Rekhta, it means Festival of Rekhta(Urdu). urdu and hindi are mutually intelligible, like russian and ukranian. The major difference is the writing script of these two, hindi uses devanagari and urdu the perso arabic. So the speakers of these languages cannot read each other's writings however understand next to everything said in day to day urdu and day to day hindi. Rekhta was a language spoken in northern India near Delhi, it is the mixture of Old hindi and arabic - persian, thus it is considered to be the father of the urdu language. urdu is basically persianised and arabicised hindi, and hindi is descended from sanskrit whereas persian from avestan and avestan and sanskrit are deeply connected and are called sister languages as they have a common parent known as the ancient indo european language (which is also the ancestor of spanish, english, german, italian, french, russian and many other european languages.)
Urdu grammer evolved out of Sanskrit thats why Hindi speakers and Urdu speakers could easily understand each other. Let me put it this way, speakers of victoria Era english and today's American english could understand each other and could also speak both of these "Forms of same language" so at the end, Urdu and Hindi both are same language evolved out of Khadi, Sanskrit and few other Dialects on India but Urdu prominantly uses persian and arabic nouns and Adjectives whereas Hindi puts more focus on Sanskrit Nouns, adjectives and verbs. Bcoz of the similar bases, Urdu Hindi speakers at the end speak the same language and many times and mix match happens quite often, urdu speakers speak Hindi and Hindi speakers speak urdu out of comfort to express themselves better. Btw, Urdu Writing Script is way different from Hindi. When you look at Urdu script it would appear like Persian and Arabic whereas Hindi more lools like Thai, Srilankan or other SE Asian but you can very Easily write Urdu using Hindi script and Urdu with Hindi script. Urdu tries to connect itself with Persia, Arab Turky and Hindi finds itself more connected to Ancient India and the subcontinent, This happens bcoz of the religious reasons. Here in entire Indian Subcontinent Muslims believe thier ancestors have come from Persia, Turky, Arab, Syria etc. whereas Hindus ( Sikh, Buddhists, Jains, Athiests) consider them orginated out of the Indian Subcontinent.

Urdu is the most used language across art forms in Northern India and Pakistan. Most of the songs and dialogues of bollywood (especially older ones) are in urdu.
Most of the stuff you are mentioning is true but the actual question is that how the Urdu language originated in Subcontinent? And the answer is that because the foreign rulers who came from Afghanistan, Persia, Turkiye and other parts of the world (mostly Muslims) initiated to introduce a new language that they could understand too because they could not speak the local languages. Urdu became a amalgamation of Persian, Arabic and Turkish languages mainly but with a beautiful inclusion of Sanskrit as well. As a result, it flourished in those parts of India where Muslim population was in good number or the parts that were near the borders of Afghanistan and Persia. The clear difference in the script and some nuances is evident. At some time, Persian and Urdu were also the official languages in some parts of Subcontinent prior to partition. I vividly remember that the titles of Indian (Bollywood) movies were used to be in English, Hindi and Urdu languages but in the last couple of decades, Urdu has been taken out. It is sad though because I strongly believe that some of the best and top notch art, in Indian Cinema especially in poetry, music, literature and singing has been produced in Urdu.
