Best For You, Kid

When writing “Best For You, Kid” I wanted to make sure that I honored the incredible gift that our daughters birth mother gave us when she picked us to be fathers. The song is our story and I will share it with our daughter when she is old enough to understand.
As an LGBTQ+ family, we have watched many more of our rights being taken away this past two years. Recently, we visited various public schools in Florida to discuss what the effects of the “Don’t Say Gay” bill will have on our daughters education and were left wondering if it was time to leave Florida.
More than ever, we need to tell our stories and fight for our rights.
We ARE a family. And nobody can tell us any differently.
