DS2 is good but Rodeo is a legit modern classic, that's not even close
Those terms are mutually exclusive, only time will tell if either of these are classic.
it can be a modern classic for the modern people. but if u chilling with a blunt and ur homies there’s barely a record out there better than DS2
@@codymichels5360 rodeo is literally the goat for chilling with ur homies smokin a blunt tho
I couldn't agree more Travis Scott is just way more talented making his own bomb ass beats and I'm not just saying that because I'm from the H

Rodeo is on a pedestal, it's own level, it's own genre. A MASTERPIECE.
Rodeo one of the best EVER albums
Kate Louis naw man I’ve been listening to rap music since the early 2000s and I’d say this is a pretty top notch album all around. It’s not the greatest rap/hip hop album but it’s definitely top 10 of all time.
Chris Delgado Top 10? This isn’t a top ten hip hop album my guy. I mean it’s your opinion but seriously.
Rodeo is a work of art. DS2 is full of bangers but it isn't art. If you view each song individually, then DS2 can rival rodeo since its essentially a compilation of bangers. However, RODEO is art. It flows beautifully and was made with the intent of being listened to from start to finish. La flame can't go wrong.
ChALLYNge Productions it’s pretty much a playlist with a bunch of bangers

This is an insult to RODEO
Don’t disrespect DS2 like that. Rodeo better but don’t disrespect pluto like that
Didn't even play the second half of 90210 though thats the best part
My granny called she said travie you work to hard I’m worried you’ll forget about me....I’m fallin in and outta cuffs don’t worry imma get it granny 🔥🔥
Ok so we’re not gonna mention this man killed the humming at the beginning of 90210
John Fendrich I think he was trying to hype it up before it happened on the song. look at the way he times his arm lol
i mean he wasnt the first to do it so im not extremely impressed... future king of mumble rap and founder
No one was ready for rodeo when it came out. Even though I first listened to the whole album months after it came out, I felt like it was a new type of trap. The sound is just unbeaten and unique. If Rodeo came out in 2019, it would be sold quadruple than what was sold in 2015 in the first week IMO (70k). Astroworld is dope, but Rodeo came with a different and darker vibe.
Preach to this, it's the same as Yeezus in that it's way way ahead of it's time
Pray for Travis to come back with that vibe maybe in Utopia, but I already know it's not gonna happen
Rodeo all day. It’s a trip. It’s a beautiful work of art. Production and vocals 10/10
Im so glad you ended with Maria I'm Drunk, most underrated Travis Scott song of all time
James Harden You have to buy the whole album, I had to buy it on iTunes and I deleted the other songs, except for Antidote and Maria I’m Drunk
sean_macfarlane nah impossible && the ends the most underated song
90210 is better then DS2

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy vs. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly.
2 greatest albums of this generation
At first I was like it’s DS2. But after watching a bit of this video, I went back to Rodeo. Rodeo might be a classic. Never realized how great it is. DS2 is still a good album tho.
this has become one of my fav videos on UA-cam. i come back to this from time to time, genuinely great content. hope they get back to doing more versus videos.
Rodeo had a thugger feature, case closed.
Israel Gamiz nah he had 1. i can tell doesn’t have young thug that was a typo
Rodeo without a doubt
Rodeo all day.
Travis is my favorite artist, but i admit that some may not like him as much. However, I find it hard to not put Rodeo as a classic rap album, definitely one of the best trap albums
Nah bro the production, features, everything is great about this album

I respect your opinion but cmon man.
@@franckdorgeless3742 Like I said it’s my opinion lmao I don’t care if you don’t agree at all
From a club banger, booty popping extravaganza perspective, DS2 is better. But from a story & ambient side, Rodeo blows DS2 out the water
"Arguably one of Travis Scott's best albums?" No Rodeo is for SURE his best album
@@samwatts5256 You ain't a real Travis Scott fan then bruh you just going with what everyone else say. If u listen to days before rodeo start to finish you'll realize its his best album and one of the best albums of all time
What makes someone a real Travis fan? just listening to his old music lmfao. If you think DBR is one of the best albums of all time I reckon you've only ever listened to trap and should listen to more music. Rodeo is miles better than DBR, DBR has some awful song ideas, overrated ass songs and some of it is just boring trap songs. Rodeo is miles better. I love Skyfall, Grey, DYSTI and The Prayer but I don't think it comes close to having the songs Rodeo has. And don't assume im not a real fan I've listened to it all
RODEO > ALL OTHER SCOTT ALBUMS
No disrespect to others but there is not a miss on Rodeo deluxe version to

When Terrell said rodeo was just an air freshener 🤯🤢
Not a Travis fan but Rodeo wins.
Rodeo is basically a masterpiece especially Oh My Dis Side, Travis' best song.
Mehdi Mohamed
Na, Oh My Dis Side not Travis’ best.
Drugs You Should Try It, 90210, Grey, Upper Echelon, Apple Pie, Maria I’m Drunk are all better.
Rodeo was a masterpiece tho.
nothing beats rodeo
Rodeo any day ds2 went crazy and been crazy but rodeo is art like ART la flame never dies bruh no question
Rodeo changed my life. Rodeo is by far better
Rodeo is a work of art and a classic but how did it change your life. You Travis stand are delusional man. He is great but there is nothing life-changing in his music. Bruhhh
Rodeo had such a cohesive story and had a great message especially with the way travis presents his music. Rodeo by far is the better album
The vibes in y'all videos bro, AMAZING🙌🔥🔥
This dude got a 2pac shirt on and is comparing a future album to a Travis Scott album
Dope video once again !
"Rodeo" > "DS2" for me.
Even though DS2 has so many hits, we heard alot of em before the release through Mixtapes.
But "Rodeo" was a big surprise with some dope beats and ambiance.
If you think "Take Care" is better than "Good Kid Maad City" is only because "Take Care" really connected with you in some other levels, you talked about it in the Bryson video that this album was important to you guys.
But hey, I can't wait to see the Vol.3 !
Rodeo!!

Idk how ANYONE can claim DS2 is better than Rodeo. DS2 doesn’t stand a chance. The amount of time that goes into Travis’ tracks as far as production and using his voice and other artists as instruments rather than popular voices is why Rodeo will stand the test of time as one of the most transformative and revolutionary hip hop albums of all time.
@@Solomona685 lol, no. When someone in the future (no pun intended) tries to find the best album that represents the Trap Era of Hip-Hop, this album, Rodeo, comes to mind as a trap opera. Future is a footnote with his banger singles, not for a cohesive album.
@@traplover6357 ur out of ur mind bruh, Future and Wayne birthed all these trap artists. Rodeo might be of slightly better quality, but the overall influence DS2 had on the way trap artists made music for the better part of the next DECADE is undeniable. anybody here 2 refresh their memory after hearing about the rumours of la flame verzuz future??
Rodeo is way better. The songs actually have a fucking structure and flow, DS2 was just a fucking oversaturated mess of random bangers that didn't mean shit. Why is it so hard for people to understand that Future only makes albums to throw like 20 songs at the fuckin charts and hope some stick...
You're missing the point. "DS2 is just bangers" that's the point. The thing is, DS2 has consistently solid bangers and its one of the most defining trap albums. Clearly Future has never followed up with such a solid project though.
But Rodeo is clearly the more artistic album covering more than just bangers.
