honestly, it just depends on your hair type even though the product may say that it's for all hair types there is never going to be a hair product that works for everyone unless everyone has the same hair type which is not possible.

I’ve been using the purple set for blondes going on six weeks now. My hair has been coming out in HANDFULS. It took me this long to put it together. After target and Reddit reviews, I’m throwing them in the trash. To anyone watching, it DOES dry hair. It DOES cause your hair to break and just fall out like crazy! Save yourselves!

I had a similar experience - I bought the curly hair formula and my hair never felt clean enough and strangely weighed down. I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners from high end to drug store and I find that sulfate free shampoos don’t work for me. Whatever they use in place of the sulfates doesn’t agree with me. My hair is also thinning and my hair started to thin out even more than usual - awful. I know most will disagree but I’ve recently gone back to Pantene. I’m still recovering from the extra hair loss and weird itchiness.
Warning to hairdressers, major coloring problems on my client who uses these products!! Nightmare for me trying to fix! Similar to Pantene, which I will NOT attempt to color after a client uses any Pantene products. Thanks for confirmation of "waxy" which is exactly why I'm having color problems.

Im using the clarifying shampoo. Maybe i have have over used it , my hair fall has been so bad...
I brought some yesterday as I needed one that had no nasties in it. My hair is usually oily after a couple of days of no washing and sometimes after using some shampoos and conditioners my hair doesn’t feel clean but after using the shampoo this morning my hair felt clean I just used 2 pumps amount not the small as suggested maybe try that?
Anyway when I used conditioner I only used a small amount but used it on mid to ends and any left over went on the top but not touching scalp the. I rinsed it out my hair felt clean and amazing I let it air dry and it looks and feels amazing I love the smell as well. So far my go to brand but where I’m from it’s about $35 per bottle I’ll see how I go after a few washes hoping it works for my hair.
That’s weird because I never had any problem with that company and it doesn’t feel waxy to me weird
No not at all. Maybe it's on highly processed hair. Fine on mine. Nice and gentle.

Omg I'm starting my second trimester and my hair has thinned 30-50%! I thought it was my pregnancy so I had blood tests done and no answers. I'm gonna switch it up and see if it helps.

The waxy feeling alone was enough to make me not want to buy it again!
I also stopped using this set. Loved the fragrance but my hair always felt coated and greasy. I got a heat protectant hairspray from this brand hoping to keep the scent in a less intense product... but also felt gross. Glad I'm not alone!

If you read the ingredients it has stuff in there that will create that waxy feel on the hair. I think products like this that are "gentle" and for "all hair types" are not good for hair that has been processed in anyway. I get relaxers so I tend to stay away from those in general. I did not use the shampoo or conditioner for this reason however the heat protectant has been good.
My hair fell out bad haha I have a few inches of new growth now and it looks so funny, looks like I have a little bull-cut on top of my normal length. Costco had it on sale $10 off or something and my gut said no, but i was like...let's gooooo! I renamed it acute hairloss.

I bought this last weekend and I have thick wavy/curly hair and I felt like it wasn't clean. It has, like you said, a waxy feeling. It is hard to find good shampoo for combo hair. The search continues.

I agree. Nothing is truly suitable for ALL hair types. The needs are so different. I’m just glad I stopped before it did more damage.
Susie, I take them back to Costco! Thats too much money to throw away. Theres Fancy names out there on BAD products!
We were in the middle of a move so I ended up getting rid of them but in the future I will definitely take something back to Costco! They were definitely too pricey to be a waste.
Mine turned brown after buying and using it. Literally stained my whole bathroom. It stuck to whatever it touched.
