It was clearly created for neighborhoods of immigrants, because it doesn't run in the city but around it, and it's clear these groups are not seen as important enough to enjoy a nice transportation. It is noisy, smelly, unclean, ugly. There is a huge difference between the metro and the lovely and clean trains and trams. It's the same with most social housing built in the 70s, 80s, 90s. They are especially ugly and depressing.
