I was just looking at your friends blanket pattern but haven't looked at mini c2c, or any c2c yet, so I decided to look it up. Ironic your video was the one I clicked on and didn't even realize it was you!
It's a magnetic board. It comes with the straight magnetic guide. You can usually find them in the needlework/embroidery section at your local craft store.
Just a quick note... toilet paper rolls are disgusting. I am a retired teacher... and we banned all use of them for crafts. We had to ban them, because, they were "brown" when folks would donate them. UGH! Nasty!! But, a lot of schools are starting to ban them. IF YOU WANT to use a roll... use a paper towel tube! Or, with Christmas coming up, Christmas wrapping tubes!!!
I am aware that toilet paper rolls are gross (I work in a public school where they are not allowed to be used). I made some tubes similar to toilet paper rolls out of heavy cardstock. This video is fairly old and I now use pieces of small PVC pipe cut to fit instead of the cardstock rolls.
@UCMAdki4HdystHe2lm2XSV9w I just finished the washcloth... without the border... still have to get the border done... and I am just not sure if I am cut out to doing C2C with different colors. Did you have as hard time at first? When you started doing C2C?

What is the name of that wooden holder thing?
It's a modular bobbin holder. There is a tutorial on how to make your own from One Dog Woof.
