Is it just me or what? I can't get enough of these old beauties. I know they were some rough riding ole hunks of metal, but they have that look. Just like car's and pickups. Different makes and models had their own style and looks. Today, everything looks the same. You can't replace those styles and distinct looks of old iron. Keep them picture's coming. I'll keep watching.
O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 I’m with you! I grew up around many of these old trucks & can sure appreciate them. They had lots of style & pizazz! I think the only thing they lacked was big power! There were some trucks I didn’t like as much…mainly due to the fact that they were Rust Buckets. Really, that was after they had been used, abused & never cleaned by the time I saw them. I always liked the body styles of the IH Loadstar, but they were notorious for fenders & cabs rusting so badly. Good stuff! 🥰😎✌️
Real men doin real work, rigs were hard to work with but what pride we had,l still have a blast from the past every time l watch,thanks.67 thru 13.wow 😎🇺🇲
Good day Phantom, Definitely old skool trucking from the Golden Age of Trucking. Great music & great photos Cheers Louis Kats your number 1 Fan from Australia. 👍 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 😊
AS A KID IN THE FIFTIES SPENT TIME AT THE PRODUCE TERNINAL AT PACKER AVE IN PHILA. WAS ALWAYS FASCINATED WITH THE CR ENGLAND TRUCKS.THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES!!
It always makes my day to see there images. My imagination hits the road with every one of them. The Knights of the Road were my heros. Got my CDL in '72 and appreciated the improvments in equipment over the years. But I still love that old iron!
Love these old rigs and you really appreciate these old videos and old iron compared to the equipment and driver quality you have out there today.glad I was a small part of it
Miss the old Tran star’s everyone had at least one back in the day so fun trucking least for me in 70’s 80’s part 90’s when they started getting tough on the trucker the fun left .
O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸Wow! You always surprise me with each episode.🤩 I can never be bored looking at these old rigs! Some had better body lines than others, but all of them had lots of style & pizazz! Man-Sized Sleeping Room…now that’s something I’ve never seen before! Talking about taking your mini camper or sleeping bag with you! Wow! Amazing! Thanks!🥰🤩✌️
Another great collection, some Interesting rigs. I particularly like the ones showing the drivers with their trucks. Thanks for taking the time to put these together. I'm retired from trucking now, started in 1975.
Shift it down into “creeper gear” for those long steep hills. My dad would put a brick on the excelerator, stand on the running board and steer on those steep inclines. Those were the days.😅
Another great one your Definitely not alone if they were three hours long I could cast to the tv and just sit back and watch!!! Thanks for a great video!
When I first started driving in 1981 everybody was driving cab overs. I was in that transition period when length laws for trailers went from 45' to 48' and beyond 😂
That’s back in the day when Truckers weren’t throttle jockeys. They had respect for each other & the rules of the road. Most people respected them as professionals.
@03.01 When Morrey Povitch says, "You are NOT the Father" of little Leroy, but she still won't let you leave! @03.19 "Nothing but Sailboat fuel today, Boys! Let's roll on."
2:46 Try to sell that sleeper today..😂 Innovative though. Today that type of tent is sold to the Off roaders. Mount it on a roof rack. Sleep away from the lions and tigers and bears!
O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 Yeah, that’s one of my favorites as well! I’ve heard of many add-ones, but never one of those. Love the old trucks, especially cabovers! Have a great one!🥰😎✌️

Buy her dinner, and she only charge you $50 a tooth. Now that's a real steal!" @01:12 "Oh that's Charlie. He's all frame, and no truck!" @01:53 "Honest to God! I went to sleep in the bunk, woke up, and it was just like this!" @02:12 "Well of course I'm overweight officer, your inspector's standing on the Damned Scales!"
1:04. JW Cartage in Milwaukee had 2 of them in yellow that did nothing but haul 40ft single axle trailers from Continental Can in Glendale Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee with empty cans
