I have been on this band for a little while now I am glad you got around to them. Akane's has such a powerful voice, both cleans and growls. It's candy to my metal ears. Great breakdown and video!
They say Eriku, but Aren, because all “mora” (like syllables in the Japanese language) end with a vowel sound EXCEPT for N/ん/ン. This is a great song. Thanks. There’s a LOT going on In HANABIE’s We Love Sweets. I would love to hear your dissection of the studio recording and how their engineer achieved that huge sound.
Those ladies are adorable not to mention talented. I wasn't too sure about the song when it started with all growling vocals as I am not a fan of that when that is all there is, BUT her singing voice is awesome and beautiful. I like the growls much more when its at the end of some of the lyrics. So by the end of the song, I can say I will definitely sub to them and look forward to more.
Some people might disagree, but this song alone is already way better than anything I've heard by Hanabie. Dudes are killing it on the instruments and lead vocalist is just badass. Another banger from Nihon.
IMHO, this songs is better than all songs from Hanabie, Nemophila, Babymetal. I agree that those bands are talented but they don't have any songs as good as this one. Sorry for the fans of those bands. I hate growling but I like the other parts of this song, I don't mind to listen to this song more. The question is whether they can keep up with that quality. Only time will tell.
Well the only thing comparable between Babymetal and all these groups is them being Japanese and bringing a lot of attention to the Japanese metal scene internationally. Other than that, it’s like comparing a band album to the soundtrack for a metal musical.
