Gone are the days where a full forward kicks 100 goals in a season.
Insane that Gary Ablett kicked 129 goals in 1994 and 122 in 1995, that's just insane.
These days anything above 70 goals a season is consideded a great achievement.
This was awesome. Such exciting times.
and I love..... The WORLD FAMOUS sunday footy show lou's handball
Do you have any more 90s Sunday Footy Show clips? I miss the Max Walker era.
Wayne Carey sure did like the word 'suppose' back then.
Look at the personality and humor, all these ex-players had. Good jokes, and could have a laugh. I totally forgot how funny this show was, because back than, it was the norm.
Society has gone down hill fast. Now all players are trained to be politically correct, castrated robots.
Gary Ablett carried an ordinary side into 4 grand finals
Carlton were the best side that year by a light year.
they lost two games against sydney and st kilda in back to back weeks after that the blues went bang
They were the best "brown paper bag under the counter" club that year you mean.
@@whatwouldiknow1759 Yeah, because the chance that the same thing was happening at other clubs is completely outside of any possibility of happening, isn't it mate?...We got caught, we got smashed for it, get over it, you wanker.
@@darrenjpeters exactly/ most clubs were doing it just as badly. Carlton was the only one that got caught like that.
What an era, they should use the full song on the footy show
AFL Footy Show Season 2 Episode 26
4:54 "Did you pull chicks last night?". Doubt you'd see a Q like that asked today.
lol at BT woweyy
Nice to know that Carlton won’t get near this for a very long time.
They’ll be paying for their cheating sins for years.
All the memories come flooding back. I have this on VHS somewhere. Thanks for sharing
