I went to my first live Corey Holcomb show in New Orleans 2022 at the Filmore and totally enjoyed it! LOL the whole time! It was refreshing to hear someone speak so honest. Especially in this cancel Culture we live in today. Comedy is meant to invoke thought and speak on taboo topics and that’s exactly what I took away from his show!

All young men out there need to listen to what Corey is saying about marriage. I had to learn the hard way without having a father/wise uncle/ internet advice. If your marriage does not work out for any reason you can be slaughtered financially as a man, especially if you're a black man. The legal rules around marriage are in a woman's favor which is why usually a woman will try to pressure her boyfriend to buy a house together, get married, have kids.

My daughter's dad has a personality similar to Corey and he too is very funny and brutally honest no matter who you are. I have thick skin and plus he's hella funny so it didn't bother me.
