My sister, Donna, age 59 died 12-22-2022. 3 days before Christmas AND her 60th birthday. She is best remembered as being an amazing sister & lifelong friend. Losing a sibling just hits different. She was just as worthy to be mentioned among these other amazing people! ❤️

At my wedding I had, Robin Mark’s “Be Unto Your Name” song. I will have it at my funeral as well. God is so good am I appreciate every day I’m allowed to live for him. As a Christian I’ve seen a lot of miracles, I know not everyone can say that, but not everyone truly surrenders their life and becomes a follower of Christ, but we have a purpose to live out. God didn’t make this world sinful come up peoples rejections of his perfect ways did. This sounds silly but I only recently came across the Bible verse that if you do as Jesus says, you are a friend of Jesus. Renew the main daily and scripture and prayer, and do as the Scripture commands. My favorite book to meditate on is the book of John, in the beginning was the Word, my Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus the Christ to all. 💕 Peace.

The world lost a truly gifted performer when Jim Croce was killed in a plane crash 9/20/73. I'm shocked to hear about the death of Lisa Marie Presley. Her close resemblance to her Dad was almost eerie, especially as she grew older. Sadly, she, too died young.
Made me want to cuss when the narrator mentioned the Worst of the Bee Gees in their disco instead of their greatest hit's that they had in the late 60s "Massachusetts", "I Started a Joke" and the one I still to this day 55 years later can tell you exactly where I was standing the first time I heard it "You Don't Know What It's Like". The only other memory that vivid is Nov 22, 1963. I can also remember the exact spot the first time I remember hearing the Eagles "It Ain't Easy" I was a half mile east of the "Corner" just starting to fill my gas tank no I did not see a Flat Bed Ford and no cars passed so no girl turned around to look at me. I’ve lost 7 very dear family members since May 2022 including my Mom passing away at home with us on Thanksgiving Day and my little sidekick, Banjo. He was my furbaby and would have been 10 on New Year’s Day unexpectedly. We believe he went to be with Mom. He loved his Nana very much and I know he was heartbroken. He was always very attentive to anyone who was severely ill. With watching this video I’m deeply shocked at those who passed so young!

I lost my brother just before Thanksgiving, my wife lost her father ten days later, then we lost our 16 year old cocker mix the week before Christmas. News that she was hospitalized for a heart attack broke hours before her death. The news about Jeff Beck made me forget all about Adam Rich. While I was reeling through my day at work by my PC in total shock, the next thing I see is a picture of Lisa Marie and a caption about her condition. About 3-4 hours later, her death was all over social media. Medics tried to revive her at home, where they temporarily restored her pulse. She was then rushed to the hospital and the medical staff could not get a stable pulse until they lost her completely. I thought she was in the right place but she was already too far gone. So sad
I am so very sadden to hear of the passing of "Diamond " she was such a patriot, and a wonderful and just a beautiful lady. Loved the Lord, family and her country. Prayers for her family.

Wow! The Lisa Marie death was shocking because she was just at Graceland in celebration of her father's birthday weekend (which is also mines January 8). I follow an Elvis UA-cam channel that had a caller talk about meeting her but she did speak on how small she was and shared a photo that was taken. Seeing her walk the runway this week for the Golden Globes was shocking because she obviously was ill. Her poor mom and daughters. News that she was hospitalized for a heart attack broke hours before her death. The news about Jeff Beck made me forget all about Adam Rich. While I was reeling through my day at work by my PC in total shock, the next thing I see is a picture of Lisa Marie and a caption about her condition. About 3-4 hours later, her death was all over social media. Medics tried to revive her at home, where they temporarily restored her pulse. She was then rushed to the hospital and the medical staff could not get a stable pulse until they lost her completely. I thought she was in the right place but she was already too far gone. So sad

If you have never seen "The Incredible Mr. Limpet", it is a great family movie from 1964 and pretty incredible for its time. Carol Cooke who played Limpet's wife who just passed away did a great job. May she and all of the others RIP.
Charles White our beloved #12 played football here at USC from 1976 - 1979, winning the Heisman Trophy as a member of the National Champion team with a record of 42-6 during his collegiate career and still holds the record for career rushing yards at 6,245 in his time with us. He passed on Wednesday at the age of 64 in Newport Beach, CA in hospice. Fight On Forever Charles!

She was a lucky duck and won the lottery to get tickets to the USC-UCLA game her freshman year. It was THE perfect school for her.

This past week has been a sad one for so many people and their families. It's even sadder when a lot of people mentioned here are younger than I am. It really breaks my heart to hear about Lisa Marie Presley passing at the age of 54. I have heard a lot about her over the years though I am not familiar with her music. I remember Elvis when I was a kid and he was on the Ed Sullivan show back in 1956. I never bought an Elvis album til after he passed in 1977.
But then I never bought a lot of music in my almost 77 years. I send warm thoughts to all of those who lost loved ones this past week. Now they all soaring with the angels.
Wondered why I haven’t seen “Diamond & Silk” lately. God rest her soul…
She was sick with COVID since November. Too bad she didn’t get vaccinated.

A mob of people surrounded her and her mother Priscilla. They are both adored here and we are privileged and proud for them to be such a big part of our city's heritage. Thank You.

Wow! The Lisa Marie death was shocking because she was just at Graceland in celebration of her father's birthday weekend (which is also mines January 8). I follow an Elvis UA-cam channel that had a caller talk about meeting her but she did speak on how small she was and shared a photo that was taken. Seeing her walk the runway this week for the Golden Globes was shocking because she obviously was ill. Her poor mom and daughters. Those mention I pray they have peace and condolences to those family and friends that are left to grieve. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the new year.
