Actually, you got it wrong. FYI the statue is not kept for decoration. It is kept as a symbol of serenity. You would find only Lord Buddha statues in many aquarium stores and even in Thailand aquarium stores as some people believe it emits positive and peaceful vibes. In the past I had covered an aquarium hobbyist who has kept a statue of Lord Shiva in his waterfall style aquarium. So it's upto the people what they want to keep and their purpose of keeping it. So now can you tell me in what way this is hurting religious sentiments? Also it's upto you that how you view it as a decorative item or as a symbol of peace. I hope you got it now.
