Kitchen box for truck camper -- Chuck Box

- This is a Box I made for my truck camper. If you have not already seen the camper, here is a link: • Homemade Wooden Camper... I made this mostly out of half inch plywood, using only some 3/4 for the structure, and some 11/32 for smaller parts. I've been looking at a bunch of chuck box designs prior to making my own, however I could not find any just like this one. One of the most glaring differences is the fact that most of them hold stoves, mine however does not because I already have a storage spot in my camper build. If you wanted to make yours hold a stove a couple inches wider would do the trick. The top part would also be a nice spot to keep the stove all set up, I plan on using mine for food. The mahogany slats on the inside of the top make a really nice surface that I don't have to worry about scratching. I like what you made and how you presented it. Good job.
Fantastic Job. You should consider making those and selling them. I would buy one immediately!
That’s an awesome kitchen 😍💕👍🏽🇦🇺👏🏽
Great job & thanks for sharing !
wow grate idea
Thank You!
GREAT, not GRATE.
great job,i would like to have one
Perfect presentation. Too many people burn a bunch of time going over obvious stuff. You cut to the chase of what & WHY you made design choices. Shelf brackets/plexiglass and the rope/ bungee handle ideas are definitely worth stealing! 😊
Thanks! B^)
do you have plans for the kitchen box, id like to build one for my scouts
so where in the truck do you store it when driving?
What is the total weight please?
Good job. Box Looks very practical. Perfect presentation.
Well thought out, you did a nice job explaining the process and procedures used.
Very impressive, to have such good wood working skills at your young age. This is a functional and lovely camping kitchen box. Check out the Chuck box at Pungo Prairie, one of the best I've seen to get more ideas. Simplicity is the key. Magnet strips from Harbor Freight should be useful too.
Good job! I really like your design. I am always going through different designs in my head and, I must say, I think you nailed what i have been trying to dream up!
Get it? “Nailed” 😂
Like what u did . Maybe some legs now for it. There's not always a place where I camp to put it on.
this is a good design. Smart! I am going to copy this and maybe adjust to my cooking gear. Good job!
Nice to see a young man these days with good skills and applying them successfully.
Very nicely done! Enjoyed watching and all the tips before I start my own. Thanks for posting!
I've been watching a few of these builds lately. You did a great job on this, and even given this old guy a few ideas for when I build my own.
Excellent build and you did a great job of explaining how you built it! I think I’ll use some of your ideas on a camping box that I’ll be building for my truck.
Yup.... great presentation, and I'm going to build a modified version of that box as well.
I like the ease of your design. Magnetic hinges are a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Nice chuck box I like your design. Thanks for sharing.

Добрая работа! Надо себе такой замутить.
nicely done!
Nice job god bless
Nice!
Awesome job!!!
Awesome! Somebody buy this kid a dado blade!
You don't need one, and they are dangerous. Make two passes on the saw.
