Much of it has to do with brands relying on some UA-camrs to promote their fragances, I can respect somebody trying to make a living out of talking about fragances, however, when you notice several consecutive videos with some of this guys talking about the same fragances, it becomes obvious that they are not giving you an honest opinion, they are just selling, and you can't really trust a seller.
If you must blind buy then take your chances, if not is always better to try first

Thank you for this in-depth review! The EDP is one my all-time favorite fragrances, and so I am looking forward to smelling this one.
Next up man in black elixir!! For real though, Bvlgari please make a flanker in the Aqva line. Its been awhile since we got anything from that line.
I'm past the point where I need fragrances to last 18 hours, and have the paint peel off the walls when I walk by. These days, I like to think about performance in terms of floor rather than ceiling. If a fragrance can give me 6+ hours of longevity, and 90% of the ride is more than a skin scent, I'll be very happy with that.
The edp is just that for me 👍
Totally agree. BUT, you can call your frangance ANYTHING you want, naming it with a concentration term means you have to stand by those terms otherwise it's false advertising...
@@johngamer7Parfum doesn’t mean stronger! It’s just the concentration of oil I think. They usually have lower projection and longer longevity than edt but not always necessarily.

I've always wondered why fragrance houses don't communicate better with their customer base. What I mean by that is when you release a flanker or plan to, why don't they try to survey their audience and ask them what they are looking for in a flanker for a specific fragrance? Maybe they could better tailor the fragrance to what gets the most positive feedback. I don't know.
They don't give a F about customers, because they know the sheeps will buy it

Like imagine if they had done a survey, and all of the issues that Ash just brought up here were rectified and himself as well as the other big influencers all talked up the fragrance, wouldn't that be preferable?

Parfum usually do not project like the EDP but it sits on the skin closer and does last longer.

It smells to me similar to the original Man in Black and to Black Orient, and I like the smell. However, I decided not to buy it. Strength concerns aside, I don't need 3 bottles that are all more or less the same.

I find Wood Neroli to be Really underrated, give it a test smell if you get a chance and see what you think.

This is clearly a pass. The first one smelt great, but didn't last at all and had low projection after the first hour. To hear this is worse performance makes literally no sense to get
