Stunning work, guys! You deserve a medal for this!
These guys have a great engineering work ethic they don't give up. More importantly they have Heart.
Oh bye the way I will be hiring them for my movies. Coming soon from Mangamerica
Many years later and this is still amazing work. If we ever get another Robo production with practical effects, I'm sure many of these techniques will be used.
Absolutely incredible build guys. Best ever.
A lot of work was put into this, and it shows! Great labor of love!
And I thought it was ME who was passionate about ED-209..!! Super Super impressed with the time you guys took to put this all together. Loved watching this :)
Thanks!
Unbelievable work and passion! Great job guys!
I didn't search for this, and chances are you didn't either.
Genius! I love how you go into all the finer details of how it was built and show the failures as well. Have a sub!
Great job guys! This was as fun to watch as the scene.
You can see the passion in this project!! ED was amazing. Also loved the spinning wheel to create the strobe effect!! Maybe next they'll get you guys to do Aliens? :D
Glad you liked the spinning strobe wheel. It was more fun than renting something fancy.
Beautiful work! Just beautiful!
Watched this to the very end. Very cool. Love the passion behind the ED suit.
Watching in 2020. Loving it
Guys this is really fantastic !!!! I've just seen the whole remake. Phil Tippet MUST watch this !!!
Way to go guys! I LOVE that you totally went all the way!! I LOVE ED-209's and you did a terrific job! I hope that Phil Tippet gets to see your honorable nod to his stop-motion creation!
Thanks very much! Phil Tippet did tweet us, and we got to visit his studio to meet the original full-size ED-209 prop, which was quite a treat.
Seriously, in the movie it looked funny because of the legs and stuff, but once he started to move you realize it actually moves much more natural than the original! Sick!
Nothing's better than the original.
My God! That was a Trully amazing quallity. I loved It! I am a HUGE fan of Robocop and ED-209!
Thanks! It's a great film and maybe the coolest looking robot in film history.

ED looks fantastic. Love his back hander. Nice.
love it! that's great had no idea how that might have been really done, love the puppets too! like the fact that I heard him mention embracing the flaws ...I agree to that... lots of creative joy when into that film I like it really do! RG

Wow, what a great Job!! 😃
ED 209 and his movements look incredible! 👍
I guess you guys had a lot of fun…😁
You are magnificent bastards, the lot of you. By far the best scene in the Robocop remake!
Absolutely incredible
That would be one hell of a trick or treat session
The robot is extremely uncomfortable to wear. Someone helped hold up his chin between takes.
I LIKE IT YOUR WORKING JOBS,YOUR MINDS SO CLEVERS AND GLITERS,YOU HAVE SO MUCH TIME TO DO THAT ROBOTEX.
Could you go into the process of how you got your 3D model accurate, or let us know what your process is for turning screencaps into real imagery was? The accuracy you guys hit was insane.
Increible, gracias por el esfuerzo y por compartir.
También es uno de mis filmes favoritos 👍😎

Guys, this is amazing
If u make 10 of those I smell someone will hire for a part Robocop 3 movie!!
Outstanding! Adam savage would love this DIY build.
He tweeted at us and we met him when we brought ED to Silicon Valley Comic Con. We was dressed as Chewbacca at the time.
@4:51: You can now add "kicked in the balls" to that list, sir.
Great job Guys.
⭐🎬🎞🎞
😎🍿
GREAT PROJECT
Nicely done, now time to remake cain
you guys are amazing.well done
Fantastic work
Awesome job! 😎😃
Um trabalho excelente! Parabéns a vocês! Incrível!!!
¡Gracias!
Okay, the whole Robocop remake link is in the description. Good. From the parts I've watched, the remake was great production value, accurate to the movie and just plain hilarious. It was comical how the cast kept changing and very creative how you guys employed a number of movie styles to keep it fresh - and me guessing what will you guys do next. However, the bad part is that a third of the screen is cut out from the bottom. For example, I couldn't see the puppets too well whenever they were in scenes. Other than that, superb job everybody!
Glad you liked it! We only made this one scene. Every other scene was made by a different set of filmmakers and actors. Some really funny stuff!
Ooooh! That explains all the different styles used to make one movie! Haha! Superb! I love it!
Thanks for idea and work
Kudos to all of you ! You are epic ! ED 209
Столько работы провести респект!!!👍👍👍
How could you guys burn 500 million dollars to make this movie?! 😰🤗😆 Amazing job!!!
Best Cosplay EVER!!!!! Shut up and take my money!!!! Great work!
@connextro your comment is wrong. The comment about cosplay is a joke like a meme. Of course exist many fantastic cosplays and this is one of them.
PLEASE Do the CAIN Cyborg next. The scene where he invades the drug warehouse maybe.
That’s a great scene. We are developing our own projects. This was just for fun.
My first thought when seeing this is: "What a bunch of dorks!", followed almost immediately by "I MUST HAVE ONE!"
I must have an ED 209 I mean. Not one of the dorks.
u guys are iconic !
wow, just WOW!
AMAZING!
These guys are such geniuses.
Amazing engineering., well done.
Thanks!
Now that, was amazing.
This is a very charming video. I love the costume.
Thanks!
Wow man, creativity and engineering out the MF Ying yang 👍👍👍
Absolutely amazing!
Keep up the great work guy's.
I'd love to build your ED 209 as a cosplay, any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry we won’t be releasing blueprints. If we wanted to rebuild him, foam might be a better approach.
Good job guys
The dedication and details. Wow! Has Rob Bottin seen this?
Not sure. Some original filmmakers have tho.
Original ED-209 is model animated. So you guys could be the first one doing this.
I was disappointed when I saw the full RC remake and found it was all different stuff. Your ED-209 scene was the best part of it.
Thanks. There are some killer scenes in the whole remake. We made a few good friends from the filmmakers’ screening. Fatal Farm did an incredible one. And the last scene is perfect.
@@GhostlightProductions I agree. The Fatal farm one was really good as well.
This guy play ED-209 one time and is exhausted... Peller Weller played Robocop two entire films with the suit... ;)
Peter Weller is most definitely a trooper. Our ED-209 suit was heavy in a different way because the head sticks so far out from your body, that it takes about 50lbs of back-lifting force to keep it from falling forward. So even just standing there, it's constant flexing and strain. Very difficult even after 20 seconds. We wish we had the time to engineer some sort of counterweight or spring system.
Masterpiece, no joke🐺👍🏼
