You mean the Magic Carpet? You can't see both sides of the ship at once anyway, no need to add extra millions of dollars to "balance" something you can't even see. If one does the trick, then one is enough.
From what I've read there are a few innovative cabin designs and an upscale vibe without a crazy upscale price. That giant elevator on the side is supposed to be used for different purposes on different decks, times of day, etc. Sometimes a bar, sometimes a restaurant, maybe a staging area while passengers and their stuff are coming on board at the start of a cruise and/or again at the end, also for transfering guests from ship to tender and then back. There's supposed to be a very cool auditorium for live shows. Also 16 solo traveler cabins - not a huge number but about the best out there that I know of. Anyway, it's on my list.
A strange design where you don't know if the ship is going or coming!! Plus the giant elevator should be painted to merge in with the hull paint. Am sure it will be very successful at carrying people around the Caribbean
From what I know of her design she does have some good features but that lifting restaurant thing isn't one. I expect they will remove it her 1st refit.
Techniquement une très belle réussite, et cela donne du travail à notre chantier et à des centaines de nos meilleurs ouvriers et artisans. Par contre esthétiquement une horreur !
Do your homework first tho...working on a cruise ship seems to be mostly all work.....but the experience will shoot you to the front of any employment line...I would contact the ship line on the web...hou might be able to apply there too... go for it tho...
I love the shape of the bow! Gives it a classic look, like ocean liners of old.
i dont know about that, looks like it will dive pretty good though. i'll take a clipper bow any day.
It's a lot more fuel efficient and would cut through water easier. That's what celebrity told me stair to my face
Merci jacques pour ces superbes images de la part de ceux qui sont loin de Saint Nazaire. La France fait encore de belles choses !
Beautiful ship...has an Art Deco Vibe...can't wait to sail on her.
What I don't get about the Edge is why not balance the ships appearance with the Edge feature on both sides

Rodney Morgan Brown need for flat side

looks more like a ferry than a cruise ship
I just showed my mum, and that was the first thing she said 😅
Il est très haut et vertical, une grosse vague sur un côté et on a l'impression qu'il pourrait chavirer.
Wonderful ship. Very modern.

Thank you
Good Job!
Now that's what I call forward thinking pain your new ship the same colour as Marella.
Once it's payed for itself and you sell it on.
Glad to see the dark blue hull livery back. That blue stripe thing is ugly. Love the NEW XBow style design.
What the hell have they done to the bow? It looks hideous!
What a hideous looking ship.
Ótima imagem
Love the horn
I hate the bow, the ship is beautiful, but the bow ruined it for me 😕
這艘輪船漂亮
Est ce que vous pouvez traduire SVP ? en Français ou en AnglaisMerci
@@quintana44600 Ce bateau est magnifique
What is pretty about a hotel on its side???? Regardless if the bow looks like something out of the dark ages
Looks weird. But hey, sometimes it’s better to be different.
Cruise ships are getting uglier and uglier
noice
wow and the crown has been taken from the ncl epic for ugliest cruise ship.
Looks like a tower block on its side
;
This must be the ugliest cruise ship built yet!!
They should rename this horror, the HILLARY CLINTON!
This ship is groundbreaking tech, beautiful masterpiece and can't wait to sail on her
@@acsupersport7981 Hope you can swim....
@@stuartlee6622 I don't get it
I built her with Legoa
Impressive but even uglier than most new cruise ships. The bow looks like it should be the stern.
What an ugly ship it hideous what where the design team thinking its one only a mother could love.
What an ugly ship, and what's with the bow, looks like something out of Jason and the Argonauts.
It's a more efficient design. Look up XBow.
Top heavy!! Very unsafe ship. Stay off!!
Based on what? Every single cruise ship built in the last two decades is extremely top-heavy. They've managed regardless.
@@RyanHolliday211 NO THEY HAVEN'T!
CHECK YOUR RECENT NEWS!!!!
Stuart, how about citing actual events rather than statements without any specific reference to actual events.
Shut up.
They wouldn't build it..... if it doesn't float...now would they....
