You have a great way of teaching!
A suggestion: please make more detailed videos for medical students. This video was great for an overview, but I am sure the detailed videos will be enormously helpful in covering our syllabus.
Do check my channel out, i give detailled descriptions of each topic exam format. I recently graduated med college & i was a topper, i give all the tips & tricks

Atelectasis is not the same as pneumothorax. In the latter, air cannot be expired because the differential pressure of the pleura to lung is eliminated. In the former, the alveoli are filled with fluid which prevents them from filling up.
You mentioned that in pneumothorax the air is forced out the lung. That is incorrect. The atmospheric pressure and the lung’s are equilibrated, so the problem is that the air cannot be expired nor inspired and the lung on an X-ray appears over-inflated rather than shrunken like in Atelectasis.
Hello sir
Margin of parietal pleura of left lung are sama as that of right lung???
Nice
Can we get these notes ???
7th rib is directly attached to sternum
god bless u

Hi Armando, can I please have your permission to use this video in a course I'm creating? I'm an instructional designer for Vancouver Island Health Authority, Canada and we'd like to include your video in our Thoracic module. Our policy is not to link but to keep a copy on our media server for easier course maintenance. I will of course, give you full credit for the video. I also sent you an email with this request but have not heard back yet. Thanks. Jo

You are so genius how to possible you know every topic perfectly but why I cannot memories anything I fail in medical school last year its so hard to repeat a class 2 nd time I just want to kill my self but its so sin so what should I do life is continue I should continued too😔😔our lessons are not in my own language I live in a forgein country so bcz of this I cannot understand the lessons very well
dont worry so much- many ppl fail in various things and still become very good doctors. I know of someone (there are many others too) who failed step here in america- and now is a practicing specialized doc for quite a few years. Its hard at the time to face your peers etc, but in the long run youll be absolutely okay. as long as your intentions are for the good of mankind, you will be blessed. also, take care of your mental health. the journey is a long one no matter what country you are in.. and there is ALWAYS something. I used to not realize it before, but honest to god your own mental health is the most important thing in all of this. people in medicine lie and brag all the time about how miserable they are lol.. but thats stupid and you dont have to be. I hope you find the strength to keep struggling for your dream, and hope you feel better. stay strong
See ...thank you for a good advice and after a long time I can laugh when I read this comment .
@@liongirl2578 I hope you are good now Yusra
