I tested drived both, it seems like City is way more modern but Vios suspension comfort is much better. From 0kmh pick up and responsiveness wise I think City did much much better job than Vios, but the engine is noisier and roaring. Tq buddy
NVH wise the Vios is better overall. City is more lively to drive due to its spacious interior and Honda fun to drive characteristic. In other hand Vios is better in term of driving dynamic and stability due to its TNGA platform.
Hi Anthony, any chance to review the City RS now that it's on the road? wanna know your thoughts on City RS vs X50 Flagship given same pricing and almost same feature.. Thanks, boss!

NVH tested memang lebih baik daripada old model. Lebih jimat minyak tak dapat test sebab just a test drive. Tapi engine baru sepatutnya akan lebih efficient.
I think all has there pro and cons. Let's talk about city first. First of all this is not the top spec RS version. And it uses 1.5NA and CVT so nothing to shout about. @@khugaangunasekar3044 Since you already put your priority to comfort and fuel efficiency. Then my suggestion is go for sedan in form factor. In our market B segment sedan have plenty of choices. Reason to be Nissan Almera has the most petrol efficiency and the comfort level is not far away from both City and Vios. As for City the interior space is superb for its class thus comfort level on the better side. As for the Vios it has the balance between them and could be one of the better driving dynamic centric car. why the blind spot camera only on the left it's feel weird i thought in variant v have both side ,,i think it's disappointed from my part just my opinion .
Yes the camera only available on the left side mirror and work only when u put left signal light while driving. Explaination I found from Google:The reasons they have only one camera are cost and that a camera on the driver's side isn't particularly useful. On the driver's side there is not really an area that isn't covered by your peripheral vision or mirror, you don't really have to take your eyes off the road to to be aware of a vehicle in that lane.
Both are good. It is a hard comparison. I think for overall handling package I will choose Almera. Probably it has bigger rims which helps on corner stability.
They pretty much similar in all the aspect you mention. Just a little here and there both excel over each other.. NVH I give it a tie, Handling I give to Almera, comfort probably city and power delivery Almera.

I like the Remote engine start part, it would be useful to warm up the car first before getting in. But I still prefer the looks of the previous Generation City 😁
@@kyleRYJ1N Then I guess you should test drive the TNGA-platform vios, it’s impressive on handling for a b-seg car. I don’t think we should talk about power in b-seg car. I owned a Honda city myself, on paper is 120hp, when you drive it’s quite slow even more with a cvt transmission. In fact it’s underpowered for me, the only thing city focus on is comfort, and sometime i guess it’s too soft for the ride as well. And again I can’t comment much on this new city as I haven’t test drive it, but from this video I can see it’s quite similar to the previous gen city tuning but of course with much improvement.
@@ZxSpectrumplus I have sat in the older version of the city I found it OK for the ride. The new one is pretty nice as well. I found it just a bit softer then the new Almera.
What you mean make the front light look like that on 0:19? Is it the dynamic turning of the DRL? That is the video frequency efffect that only from video capturing. Actual DRL will be light up consistently from our eyesight. Is that the question you asked?😅
Cool, quite nice, but abit of previous BMW 3 series wannabe with the Instrument cluster panel, rear lamp, and into European Minimalist dashboard style & no more after market like touch screen, aircond buttons. We'll thats great.
Sadly but true. Even honda cvt is not cheap to replace once broken. I bought HRV in 2019 but few months later, started to get headaches. Got too many issues on quality parts. Even honda cvt always broken dan have to replace with cost like buying new car dan also replacing steering rack, fuel pump, power window and etc but problems never end.

I not the sales here. Tapi kalau you nak trade kat Honda, you boleh cari info kat video ini dalam description section. Contact their sales for your enquiry they will more than happy to assist.
Depends on what you want actually. City has a proven reliable 4 cylinders engine, spacious and fun to drive characteristics Almera is more peppy during acceleration with its 3 cylinders turbo charge engine, better design cabin(meter cluster), more solidly built. Anyway this is my personal preference.
My sister got her license soo she asking me should she get a city, almera or vios what do u recomend🤔 im not a sedan person🤣 soo i only know hatchbacks and suvs.
Depends on what is her preference. All 3 of them are good cars. If you wanted a more peppy engine then go for the new Almera and if you wanted a more stable and better ride then VIOS. If you wanted a easy and fun to drive car go for City(my own preference). The rest of the practically, fuel economy, maintenance cost etc won't be far away from each others.
Although this new City is already improved on the NVH level compare to its predecessor but I think the VIOS still score a little bit better in this aspect
I put it this way in terms of power delivery the Almera seems to have more kick during the acceleration due max torque comes in early. As for the City it is a 4 cylinders engine and higher cc so I presume it has more pull during high speed(I never did that tho. Need more highway 😎).

Yes. From V spec and above.
Kindly gives the test drive of honda city 1.0 turbo 2020
There is no Turbo variant available in Malaysia.Only the hybrid and NA engine offers in Malaysia.
@@AnthonyLoh ok but i see videos of 1.0 turbo variant videos

Bro. Does this car has optitron meter display?
Only V sensing and RS variant had it.
Did you lock the men inside that car?
Is he and yes for the format of my video 😅
Can you hear the vtec in this car?
Nope 😅
I like the Remote engine start part, it would be useful to warm up the car first before getting in. But I still prefer the looks of the previous Generation City 😁
Can install aftermarket one oso on older car...installed one on my viva🤣

Compare to Vios, which one is more comfortable in terms of suspension and stiffness of its absorber
Both are pretty similar. If you want me to Nick pick I think VIOS is slightly better.
@@AnthonyLoh if it was you which one would you choose? And why?
@@kyleRYJ1N Sport handling go for vios. Comfort wise then city.
@@TheZalehra why I think that’s opposite. Power is city and comfort is vios, no?
How does this v variant have side lane camera?
Yes it does.
Almera and Honda which one more comfortable ??
In term of just ride, they are quite similar. But overall I will give this city a bit better on comfort level.
Its so refined dude. ya, comment from previous gen city owner. The drive much more fluid.
Hi bro, in terms of ride comfort and NVH level how would you compare with the new Almera turbo ?
Both are almost the same.
@@AnthonyLoh How does it compares to the old city? Old City is terrible in ride comfort.
@@ZxSpectrumplus I have sat in the older version of the city I found it OK for the ride. The new one is pretty nice as well. I found it just a bit softer then the new Almera.

Anyone know how to make the front light looks like this at 0:19
What you mean make the front light look like that on 0:19? Is it the dynamic turning of the DRL? That is the video frequency efffect that only from video capturing. Actual DRL will be light up consistently from our eyesight. Is that the question you asked?😅
Cool, quite nice, but abit of previous
BMW 3 series wannabe with the Instrument cluster panel, rear lamp, and into European Minimalist dashboard style & no more after market like touch screen, aircond buttons. We'll thats great.
Don't forget that chunky steering wheel as well 😁
Is the driver door closing sound feel solid ?
The door is a little bit on the light side(my preference) but the closing is OK.
@@AnthonyLoh Thanks
What's your take after testing, Almera or City?
This is kinda 51 to 49 ratio 😅. I choose Almera over this but need to wait for the RS variant to be compare.
@@AnthonyLoh what the reason u will pick almera boss
@@ahmadfirdaus2990 Better features offer on the top spec Almera and a more peppy engine. Oh more cooler meter cluster.
That cvt dronning at 7.45 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲... The good old 5 speed torque converter on gm5 make way better noise🐸
Unfortunately that is the downside of the CVT. In the good way it do return better petrol consumption
Quick question for u anthony, does the side mirrors have auto flip? I mean like the previous gen when we unlock the car, the side mirror will flip outward
It doesn't has the auto retractable side mirror while lock and unlock the car.
looks bouncy
Boss, i bought city V spec Jul 2019 and i tak ada hutang ..if i want to trade in how much can sell and want this v spec 2020.. pls comment
I not the sales here. Tapi kalau you nak trade kat Honda, you boleh cari info kat video ini dalam description section. Contact their sales for your enquiry they will more than happy to assist.

@@razijaafar3883 You are welcome.
Almera more better or City?
Depends on what you want actually. City has a proven reliable 4 cylinders engine, spacious and fun to drive characteristics Almera is more peppy during acceleration with its 3 cylinders turbo charge engine, better design cabin(meter cluster), more solidly built. Anyway this is my personal preference.
The guy on the back: will I get paid too?
Yes he will if someone find him to buy a car from him lol
My sister got her license soo she asking me should she get a city, almera or vios what do u recomend🤔 im not a sedan person🤣 soo i only know hatchbacks and suvs.
Depends on what is her preference. All 3 of them are good cars. If you wanted a more peppy engine then go for the new Almera and if you wanted a more stable and better ride then VIOS. If you wanted a easy and fun to drive car go for City(my own preference). The rest of the practically, fuel economy, maintenance cost etc won't be far away from each others.
can drive a car without registered number plate on road?
All drives are road legal :)
Can u get Honda hrv 1.8V spec pov test drive
If I can I will. Thanks for the support.
Honda is best
PPM 3286 Honda City Penang Number Plate
How about the NVH compare to vios?
Although this new City is already improved on the NVH level compare to its predecessor but I think the VIOS still score a little bit better in this aspect
@@AnthonyLoh Based on your own opinion, which car do you prefer? City or Vios
@@aaronchow3714 personally I like this City a bit more. Probably will check out the RS variant cause the meter cluster is too old school for me.
How does it compare to Nissan Almera Turbo generally ? I dont really prefer Honda Lanewatch over Blind Spot System tho.
I put it this way in terms of power delivery the Almera seems to have more kick during the acceleration due max torque comes in early. As for the City it is a 4 cylinders engine and higher cc so I presume it has more pull during high speed(I never did that tho. Need more highway 😎).
I saw someone sitting at the back. Omgg
Hahaha it is real person don't worry 😁
@@AnthonyLoh lol
Good on you Honda, next gen 0.5L 1 cylinder engine, 20kw 40nm torque, extremely fuel efficient but you have to push it up hill.

Not so bad👍👍👍

But heard that city gn2 have lots of quality issues such as steering rack, rubber lining, oil compressor leaking, honda cvt, rattling noise from dashboard and car body quality. Going to service center but problems never end.
Wow cantik la
But look like uncle car. Rear like BMW 3 series. Front and interior doesn’t look good. Even interior center dashboard doesn’t look neat.
How is the engine response and power compared to old model L15Z sohc? Because there's no difference on paper 120ps/145nm vs 121ps/nm
Not much different actually 😅. The major different would be the sound proofing of the new one is much better than the old one.
What is up with those ugly a/c vents..looks like a bloody coffin
Even interior doesn’t look neat and looks a bit downgrade. Exterior also doesn’t look good. Rear like 3 Series
Good comments all the way........By the way paid?
Nope. In recent time there are hardly bad car just better one out there. Usually my comments will be base on same segment comparison in mind and I kept in general perspective than personal preference. There is always something to Nick pick anyway.
May I know the comparison between new Almera in terms of power, body roll, suspension, steering etc?
Power is more engaging from the new Almera, body roll, suspension and steering feels are pretty much the same
Vios or city lebih selesa dari segi handling?
Lebih kurang sama. VIOS mantap sikit tapi City is more fun.
VIOS with TNGA is really good in term of handling but City is overall a more balanced car to drive in both City + Highway
@@antman2617 current Vios in Malaysia is not on TNGA platform. It's an enhanced older platform with more specific welding points and sound insulation.
