Seriously, you had to go to an animated show? In the comics Magneto got turned into a baby, literally. People make this more complicated than it is. Just have his powers slow his aging.

She seems to be very humble for being in such a public role. I know interviews are not windows into their private life but she doesn’t seem to be forcing or faking this behavior. So it seems to indicate that she is just naturally a soft spoken, humble person. Which is nice to see. And she really enjoys talking about roles and getting into the characters head space and the process. So you can tell she’s very passionate about her job.

Ian McKellen seemed more epic choice since Fassbender is just like 12yrs older than Elizabeth- and not that it really matter but having a wayyyy older and more experienced Magneto would be just a better looking option since mcu wanda is an adult with children, he's a grandpa now. And since Patrick Stewart reprised his role as Charles Xavier which btw is definetely from ANOTHER alternate timeline (not the main Fox, he died in Logan) since he was still alive so Ian McKennel would still be this 838's Erik Lensherr. You just cannot have Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier and not have Ian McKellen as Magneto. Take note, universes 616 and 838 are identical from names, faces and identities but some instances can still be different from each other like how Peggy got the super soldier serum while Steve was probably skinny a war veteran and SHIELD director, Mariah had the tesseract incident and Carol is probably the SWORD director but I higly doubt they'd change Magneto's title holder. Erik Lensherr can be the only Magneto and if Sir Ian is 838's Erik then somewhere in the 616 universe Ian McKennel is Erik.
Yes or any other old like 60s because McKellen is already in 80s and he needs rest. Michael Fassbender doesn't look like father to Elizabeth because just 12 Years is difference. But many have done it before like less gap between father and son's in movies.
But he can't realistically be Magneto long term because of his age, so Fassbender is a better option plus he's one of the few younger xmen cast I like besides Evan Peters.

I guess the dark hold wasn't invented at that time of filming. 🤣 It's one of those things in movie continuity where there are loopholes and easy solutions but for the sake of making a movie they just have to make unnecessary choices to make it longer, epic and of course, milking the cash cow of a franchise.

Better keep origin of Magneto and Xavier, McKellen and Stewart should play them in Earth-616. Magneto has to be 90yo, Wanda is about 35, he could be 55 when she was born. Next use some mutant power, or machine, or being in area where side effects for Magneto and Xavier is rejuvenate, and replace McKellen and Stewart by 55-60yo actors.

To me everyone from Fox's first 3 X-Men movies was perfectly casted and no one can ever replace those actors as most characters especially Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Anna Paquin, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer and Famke Janssen. To me they are the definitive versions of those characters. I personally want the fox's X-Men to be the mcu X-Men. In my version of infinity War and endgame there in it as well as Deadpool.

MCU can do a similar thing especially since Wandavision established that her powers were enhanced and she already had them before interacting with the stone.

Whoever they choose to play Magneto with Wanda needs to be at least 25 years older than her. But they also showed her father in Wandavision, so it would need to be a Magneto from another universe.
It really wouldn't be that bad if they just recast all the X-Men from FOX. I'd love to see some new faces and new approaches. They successfully recasted Spider-Man, and everyone loved it. I'm tired of how heavily MCU is relying on big name actors and cameos nowadays instead of making good stories and movies. No Way Home was actually fun and all, but it shouldn't always be like that.
The MCU is trying to find its footing with phase 4 and beyond. Some of these newer characters don’t have that popularity that the original phase 1 characters have and with the multiverse and cosmic direction this can be confusing for some audiences to grasp. I have faith Marvel will iron out the kinks along the way, and if giving us some cameos that resonate with viewers who have watched Marvel movies for years I’m okay with that. Feige is a brilliant man and I’m sure he has some ideas that will blow our minds

With the underwhelming MOM released, I really hoped the MCU can continue to improve its creativity. The concept of MOM is so good, so it was a big let down how the movie turned out to be so average. I wanna know what's happening with the Wanda from the Illuminati Universe. I want her to learn how to be the Scarlet Witch. All the journey that Wanda 616 lived and they never showed on MoM, I want to see her going through that. I also want her to be in House of Harkness without being the main character. I want her to take advantage from the knowledge of Evil Wanda, and I want her to meet Agatha from the Illuminati Universe, and her to become her mentor in the right way. I want her to become the Scarlet Witch as it was predicted she will be, not as an evil ruler, but as a powerful guardian of the Multiverse. There must be other ways of traveling through it without America's power. That will lead her to a main film like "Endgame" where the paths of all of them cross. But this will happen only after a movie of the "Children's Crusade" of course

Although Ian is the best Magneto, he is already too old to be playing Magneto again. So, I'd choose Fassbender from First Class, DOFP, Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix. I know there's only a 12-year gap between them, but Fassbender can be digitally aged. And that's it.
Sometimes it’s not the actual age number but how one looks. Fassbender looks a bit older already plus when we saw him in the X-Men movies the time period was dated so in current times he would be older

McKellen is too old now to keep playing that role for long enough, while Fassbender is too young to play a 21st century Magneto. Plus the MCU should look forward and innovate, rather than stagnate by sticking only to what came before. Same reason they didn't keep previous actors for Hulk, Spider-Man, Blade, etc.

It really wouldn't be that bad if they just recast all the X-Men from FOX. I'd love to see some new faces and new approaches. They successfully recasted Spider-Man, and everyone loved it. I'm tired of how heavily MCU is relying on big name actors and cameos nowadays instead of making good stories and movies. No Way Home was actually fun and all, but it shouldn't always be like that.
The MCU is trying to find its footing with phase 4 and beyond. Some of these newer characters don’t have that popularity that the original phase 1 characters have and with the multiverse and cosmic direction this can be confusing for some audiences to grasp. I have faith Marvel will iron out the kinks along the way, and if giving us some cameos that resonate with viewers who have watched Marvel movies for years I’m okay with that. Feige is a brilliant man and I’m sure he has some ideas that will blow our minds
@@GeekCulture that does sound like a possibility, but I'm strictly talking about big name characters like Professor X and Magneto, or even Wolverine, these are characters we're so familiar with and I would like the MCU the deliver them in a way we haven't already seen before. It might sound greedy, but it really isn't. Movie makers should have that ambition, and I'm just worried the the MCU is getting too comfortable now. With the underwhelming MOM released, I really hoped the MCU can continue to improve its creativity. The concept of MOM is so good, so it was a big let down how the movie turned out to be so average. Like there's a solo movie about the mutiverse and magic, yet I'm more down to rewatch the solo movie where a Super soldier fights his corrupted company.

I wanna know what's happening with the Wanda from the Illuminati Universe. I want her to learn how to be the Scarlet Witch. All the journey that Wanda 616 lived and they never showed on MoM, I want to see her going through that.
I also want her to be in House of Harkness without being the main character. I want her to take advantage from the knowledge of Evil Wanda, and I want her to meet Agatha from the Illuminati Universe, and her to become her mentor in the right way.
I want her to become the Scarlet Witch as it was predicted she will be, not as an evil ruler, but as a powerful guardian of the Multiverse. There must be other ways of traveling through it without America's power.
That will lead her to a main film like "Endgame" where the paths of all of them cross. But this will happen only after a movie of the "Children's Crusade" of course

Although Ian is the best Magneto, he is already too old to be playing Magneto again. So, I'd choose Fassbender from First Class, DOFP, Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix.
I know there's only a 12-year gap between them, but Fassbender can be digitally aged. And that's it.

@@GeekCulture The Netflix shows were always designed to fit into the MCU, even if Marvel Studios wasn't involved. The X-Men films definitely weren't.
McKellen is too old now to keep playing that role for long enough, while Fassbender is too young to play a 21st century Magneto.
Plus the MCU should look forward and innovate, rather than stagnate by sticking only to what came before. Same reason they didn't keep previous actors for Hulk, Spider-Man, Blade, etc.

Yo this movie was sick, but this was barely Doctor Strange's movie. In the next one Clea is probably gonna be the center of attention, and they gonna make Strange even more of a Joke.
Someone’s even in the comics this can happen. I still felt it was. Dr Strange movie but Wanda was the driving force in it.

Don't you appreciate the attempt to tell a story that's less formulaic superhero fare? Strange got character development, experience points, a new friend, closure on a love interest, and a possible new love interest. Reed Richards was the joke of this movie.
