Bishop Snow is one of the few new west coast rappers who actually rap on West coast beats. Keep it up bro. I was born in 84 and grew up in the 90s. G-Funk was my first introduction to rap back in 1995 and still my favourite style of rap.
The bay got a lot of that mobb shit that slaps. Its not the g funk music but Mistah F.A.B. thangs n things slaps. Too short-fuck yo speakers slaps. B-legit life lessons slaps. I know it's a little faster but if you like mobbin around with some beats you should check that shit out too. I dig all these beats. Nor cal, so cal. As long as that shit got a good beat I'm with it!
@@tonyb460 bro, the old Mobb sound is heavily influenced by G-Funk. Listen to the old AWOL Records, Guce, Luniz...you can clearly hear the G-Funk influences. It's a subgenre of G-Funk in of matter fact. I love me some Mobb SHit too...that stuff bangs hard.
Yes sir! Too short been on that shit. He used to call it p-funk like a lot of others did. Socal just put that g on it. A lot of Shorts older music was heavily influenced by George Clinton and that sound.
