@@arctiemathe304 and all of them were wrong. It wasn't "confusing", it simply required the bare minimum attention span. The people that thought the story was bad or confusing just decided to not touch a single Datalog, which provide a small, succint and detailed explanation of things not touched by the story, and even if they didn't, the story was fine on its own. The background info had the decency to remain in the background until it was needed in the front. Seriously, you want confusing that's actually confusing, play Kingdom Hearts. Pretty sure Nomura was on rocks writing all that.
