I was worried you didn't mention the Mchose L7 but the fact you put it there on no. 1 is further proof you are a superb mouse reviewer. Not many reviewers even consider the L7 as their top 5, and I'm always baffled. L7 is stupidly cheap for what it offers. But im going to assume you havent gotten the Madlion Mad G because that one is perfect mouse for bigger hands IMO
Another, underlooked strength of the L7 is ironically if you intend to not use the shell at all. I’ve been doing research on designing a 3D printed fingertip mouse, in the style of optimum’s zero mouse. The L7 has an incredibly, lightweight, small and sturdy PCB. I talked to a mouse modder gabesmousemods in my research and he said the L7 pro was by far the easiest pcb he has ever worked with/designed around. He made a 19g 8k mouse with the original battery from the L7. Optimum recently made waves for partnering with finalmouse where they announced they will be producing standalone very compact pcbs for mouse modders to use, but it’s likely those pcbs will run over $100. You can pick up an L7 for $45 take it apart and you have a better, smaller, and just as light pcb with insane performance for less than half of what finalmouse would sell it to you for. People used to pick up $30 G305s for sacrificial pcbs for modding, right now I don’t think you could do better for that purpose than a L7.
@@kamrankambang7953 honestly I am not certain. I’m currently waiting on my L7 in shipping currently so I can’t say I’m an expert on the internals yet, only what I’ve seen from other modders, who haven’t highlighted the side button mechanism. It would depend how you reinforced the buttons. I’ve considered experimenting with side buttons, but i plan at first to use Gabe’s design without side buttons and iterate from there. That said, you probably won’t be able to achieve lower weight than something like g-wolves can with side buttons without more specialized printing methods. Though you can’t customize those as fully in shape. Honest answer is I’m not sure, but I’d be interested in finding out. It seems possible though, as I suspect the default of the side button switches are just above where one would naturally grip the mouse. If it’s possible to create something to keep the buttons and what I’m assuming is a ribbon cable for them in place, you might just be able to extend the thumb grip section upwards to reach them. when I get mine and start experimenting I’ll try to update you. I would guess around a 25g total though.
Question I'd appreciate having answered: Those nordic MCU from the second and third mouse (and perhaps more, I'm still at the segment of the third): is it the same as the Haste 2 Wireless and de Model O2 Pro 1K?
Thank you for the budget mice review! I've been happy with my Attack shark R6 but wish I can find a mice that has softer clicks rather than a tactile feedback. Something similar to the Logitech G Superlight Pro X if there are any recommendations would greatly appreciate it!
incott g23 pro has hotswappable switches and comes with softer and lighter feeling ones, so far it's been great for me, amazing side buttons and scrollwheel too, unlike the superlight
imo aj159/179 are underrated, you can get basic version for around 20$, pro - 30$ and apex for around 50$ (i got mine for 40$ shipment included), i have motospeed x6, scyrox v8, lamzu maya 8k, asus harpe, zaopin z2 mini, and much more, but unexpectedly ajazz aj159 apex become my favorite mouse (i found that i prefer having mouse at around 60g, you should not run after trends, like not people run after zeromouse weight and in the past they searched for brick weight mouses with additional weights)
i wish companies made more cool looking mice, while these mice's are amazing for price to performance non of them stand out , they are either clones of more expensive mice or just plastic.
Would you be willing to try out the Santali Aagaz S1-0? It's a budget mouse that I haven't seen many reviewers mention, but I own it and I think it's one of the best budget mice out there. I'm curious as to what you'd think of it.
The ATK F1 Pro Max is my top choice. 8K dongle and big battery, goated shape (basically a viper mini). Scyrox V6 is too bulky for me and QC sucked on my unit, tons of button wobble. Mchose uses Realtek MCU which i don't trust in terms of latency. Plus as a fingertipper i don't really like back hump
The F1 Extreme would be the better choice over the Pro Max. As for the Mchose mouse it has good latency result. I have zero issues with Realtek MCU. Nordic is great but there are a lot of other good MCU’s and they have really been optimizing them.
@@Gen3DTech Sadly the extreme has too small of a battery for my likings, i gladly trade off 15g for that personally since i don't like extremely light mice, besides that what makes you say the extreme is better? they're almost identical on paper. @NisiApexx Ah...I am just the opposite so I can see why you like the Pro Max. They did tighten up the QC on the Extreme version. I have every single ATK mouse. As for Mchose, Liam has benchmarked the mouse already, and it has better latency than 99% of the other mice out there. This is crazy because a year ago, Mchose released the AX5, which had some of the worst latency. They really screwed up the firmware, but shockingly, they really turned things around. They came out with a great HE keyboard, too.
@@Gen3DTech mate, which mchose mouse you are using right now? I am looking for a mouse. Currently using old but still good zowie fk1. Thinking about m7 ultra or a7 ultra however for the same price i can get egg xm2 wired.
@ I am using the L7 Ultra. I have the pro also. However, my top mouse under $70 is the IPI Float 88 for $60. It has an extremely strong carbon fiber shell and perfect QC. If you like a big mouse with a big battery the Madlions G Max is a great choice.

The specs and price are amazing for sure but the shape is far too small to work for most people. It's really made for small to medium hands and more focused on fingertip with a little claw. 36mm height is just too low!

@@Smackedem there are the A7 Ultra ( GPX2 Clone ) and The M7 Ultra which is a Zowie U2 on Steroids for medium to large hands, these mice price to performance is just nuts, crazy value right there, the only downside is the skates as Liam mentioned, and there's a new web based driver for these mice as well, so overall good crazy budget options
