Is the wood cracking sound free, or it that a separate "professional" charge?

Kudos for doing it yourself. However you really should rename it to "How to move a shed without hiring a professional" That's not how the pros do it. I do it for a living....

So the shed does not have a built in anchor point for the winch? Instead it's wrapped with a nylon harness? Is this the standard way to connect the winch?

When I move a shed, I just lag 5000 lb D rings from harbor freight to the skids, then cut a block and put it between the skids so my winch wont pull the skids inward, then I jack up the shed and leave it hanging out from the jack. Once on the trailer I pit the jack under the front and hook up my drill powered 2speed fulton winch with snatch block. I start pulling with the winch and steering with my floor jack. Easy peasy.
I use dollies or simply let the skids slide on smooth wood at the back. Let them slide across a 4x8 that is prevended from moving forward by 2x4s in the bed stake pockets and its easy. Then transfer the D-rings to the top corners into the framing and strap it down in a big X. Thats how I do it anyway.

You can use woodprix, it has the best handbooks and ready instructions. You can learn much from them and make it yourself.
