what emotional!!! yeah that was really fun with all of you in the vides! laughed so much!!! this is not the end but the begining of new journey and hey it does not mean future collabs i would like that !!!
I think it just becomes a time thing. Once you get to a certain point, opportunities start to arise, and being apart of GG he probably has a number of time obligations that may lead to him turning down opportunities. At some point those opportunities likely start to come with a cost and they have to weigh the cost of what they might want to be doing vs what they are currently doing
Man I loved Kwon in the GG group and I knew he wasn’t giving the same vibe in the last couple of months, but this still comes as a shock. I’m gonna miss him with the group and it’s gonna be impossible to replace him, simple as that. All that being said this was handled very well, I’m excited to watch what Kwon has in store for the future and the GG journey as well. Much love.
You can tell that it really hurts Garrett when people leave GG, and that’s how you know he’s a good leader for the company. keep growing y’all making friends along the way.
He seemed angry with this one though. Luke, even in his is own video seemed super appreciative of this opportunity. Garrett seemed upset (not sad) that Luke was going on his own.
Agreed. I can’t tell if he’s just a little Immature and doesn’t know how to handle it or maybe it’s justified based on some other talks off camera/how much kwon channel grew coming on the team for a year and a half… just spit balling
If you cant tell the difference between kwon’s class and gratitude vs. micah’s or grant’s, then idk what to tell you. The problem for micah and grant wasn’t that they left; its how they handled their departure. Not a smidgen of respect given to the group - and really mainly garrett - that blessed them with a massive platform to “simply” play college level golf for a pro level living.
@@be4st856 You don't know that. Both Grant and Micah were obviously under some sort of contract which did not allow them to talk about their departure. Micah also stated in one of his explanation videos that they had filmed a golf match with all the boys and they talked about him leaving and he stated there were no issues when filming. The issues came when Good Good chose not to release the video and go quiet on any reasons. Micah left at least 2 months before Grant. Both men are married and both men had different viewpoints on how they saw their future. Its easy to stay; its harder to leave and forge your own path. The Respect you talk about was the lack of respect good good gave to both Grant and Micah when they left. And this is verified by how they decided to handle Luke's moving on.
Man Luke is one of the best Good Good Members to ever join this community. We’ll forever miss him, not only as fans watching him through the screen but as a family. I think it’s fair too say Good Good will never be the same without Kwon 😢. Much love Luke Kwon 🫶
Definitely saw this coming. Sad for the whole group (including Kwon) but happy for Kwon too. Hopefully its not a year before they can get together for a video or 2 together.
Literally the first thing I thought of. To be honest he doesn’t even have a video because there’s nothing around like leaving. It was all addressed here
Definitely felt this one coming for awhile. Luke brought high caliber golf into the group and coupled with a good positive attitude, he was an awesome fit. Thanks for all the great videos Luke and good luck on your journey! I know your personal channel is popping off now and ill be keeping up with ya over there, cheers!
The inevitable progression it seems of guys who are growing their own channels. Micah and Grant more or less left for the same general reason: you can't grow your own channel AND be 100% involved in GG. Garrett more or less maintains his channel, so he's exempt. But inevitable. Was hoping it wasn't the case, but this is the way. I will miss you in the normal rotation. Your banter with these boys is unmatched. This is a proper send off. Having him in the last group and a proper announcement.
Yeah I'm worried about the future of GG because of this. That's 3 guys now who've gone independent (and on top of that - the 3 best golfers of the group). In addition to Grant, Stephen, Bubbie and Matt all having their own channels on the side.
@TS-uc4hi personally I don't think they should have went the route of grabbing pros or close to pros. Their best videos were them having fun rather than dude shooting -5 each round with 60 year old clubs lol I don't think they will go anywhere though.
@@TS-uc4hinone of them is determined to do much on their own. Bubby, Stephen and Matt likely all have a bigger stake in Goodgood than Luke or Grant ever did as well.
A little surprising honestly. Matt had the same model with Googan and they managed to all continue to grow their personal channels while still making Googan weeks. Weird GG has lost 3 members in the last year and a half
Good Good has become the triple A of golf channels. It's an awesome place to get started early in your career before moving on to the big leagues of solo channels. 🍻
It's all good. There have been several generations of good good. Good Good will bring in more guys and introduce us to them. We'll love them all the same.
That is a fairly tough ask. Scratch golfers are in general fairly rare, much less guys that are scratch and have personalities that bode well for youtube content.
Funniest line: Luke watching Steve address the ball and says, “look at this specimen “. 😂 Thanks for all the great golf and memories Luke. Best of luck!
Damn. You can see Garrett is feeling the pressures of being "in charge". You could tell he was not in good spirits when initially explaining the scenario with Luke. Players wanting to do their "own thing" instead of being part of Good Good is taking a toll on content. Their turnover rate is climbing which is NOT good.
Being the boss comes with some perks but hits the hardest after he gives these guys a platform, a bigger following, then they bounce. I feel for him. It can get lonely at the top.
Ive watched 3 very good people leave here at work. All 3 went on to what was better jobs for them. (Life dream jobs) it sucks but you just continue on. Same thing for the good good guys life evolves so better do same. Good luck kwon!
@@Crushfire24 But that's essentially what a good boss/manager/fill-in-the-blank should do. Invest in their talent/employees and want to see them grow and prosper, even if it's not with that company. There was no longer an ideal role for Luke within GG and that's ok. Garrett should want Luke to be in the best position for himself professionally and I hope he doesn't harbor any contempt or feelings of "being used."
i think Good Good should expand to include everything youtube golf and create a league. where it’s a legit thing across the country. Instead of just having 4-8 guys this is always gonna be a problem with how people are today. I’m the type of person that i tell people things upfront. Like hey if i get 500,000 subs i can make more money doing that so how do we work things out to make it worth wild for all of us. Can you imagine having a match every month with all the you-tubers battling for the good good league championship having 4 man teams throughout the year. it would be awesome and worth wild for everyone
Lmao yeah he’s like barely looking into the camera and rubbing his hands together and making hand gestures. It sucks. He’s like the heart of good good and he just doesn’t want to see anyone leave, especially someone as good as Luke. I know he wishes the best for him tho
That's 3 now. Good Good members going independent to run their own schedule and make their own $$$ is gonna be the downfall of GG. Literally the BEST 3 golfers of the group are gone.

Bro kwon re sparked my good good love when the drama was happening! Love watching you kwon and look for to seeing your play the courses I play I Aus!!! Kingston heath is a beast! Stoked how this has benifited you and the good good crew! 🎉
Kwon, you’re a legend. It’s never the last match. GoodGood has transcended being a YT channel it’s more of a platform for people like yourself to find your feet & guide you to navigate your narrative in the UA-cam space. We’ll see you back with the boys down the line, look forward to seeing what you get up to on your own channel, the amazing places you’ll visit. Smash it 🙌🏼
Appreciate the transparency, but it hurts to see Kwon go. He was honestly my favorite since I started watching you guys. Hope he has continued success out on his own, would love to see him back on tour.
Pure class boys. Looking forward to the future collabs!
To be fair, everyone saw this coming. He will be missed as I always felt he had great chemistry with the boys.
I rarely watch lately. Why or how was this so obvious?
@cj4298 he's been checked out in multiple videos for last few months, not giving a crap. Passive aggressive, short answers, etc.
@@Eastmaniache was also just really quiet
@@cj4298 It's because he's been making his own vids, so trying to do that and making vids with Good Good was becoming more difficult.
Would love to see Steve make some appearances on Kwon’s channel in the future. Great chemistry
Agreed. A #TeamBackpack entry or two in some 2-man scramble tourneys would go down a treat! :)
@@badm0t0rf1nger Team Backpack vs the Bob Does Sports crew
Thanks for the content @LukeKwonGolf !! Loved watching you play with these boys. Excited to see what is next in store for you
A very sad day but it’s time like these that you look at the good (good) memories. Thank you Luke for all the funny times and best of luck for your future adventures 🙏🥲
Knew it was coming
Same here, you could tell it was dwindling down to it
Agreed, he hasnt been invested into a video in a long time.
Here's your 🍪
Or did you know it was kwoning? Ok I'm sorry I had to I will see myself out.
Yeah the frat boy thing and silly games you kinda grow out of. Dominated those boys. On to actual 1 on 1 or team golf with some gamers.
Better not be a Nate video about this. This video is pretty much straight forward and to the point
Well...
Farmers gotta farm lol
Leech gotta leech
That's the truth lol he's such a suck up and very annoying at the same time !!
“The real reason Kwon left good good”
Love the respectful leave
what emotional!!! yeah that was really fun with all of you in the vides! laughed so much!!! this is not the end but the begining of new journey and hey it does not mean future collabs i would like that !!!
The silence about the Dubai trip plus laughter about Steve agreeing = steve got detained by the dubai government for being too sauced LOL
Where'd you hear that? I noticed it got a little awkward then which was weird because they always have great Dubai content.
Just like Grant & Mica, Luke has outgrown Good Good. His travel videos are great to watch.
Agree! Luke is The only one of the three that I have plans to keep watching. Love his content. Love what he brought to this group. Will be missed.
31:33 Kwon with the Jedi tricks lmao. Impressed Luis.
Good Good will need a new villain now! Best wishes to Kwon and looking forward to some great content with Sean!
Much love.
Love watching you guys. I’m going miss Luke Kwon with all you guys . But I still watch him on his videos that he will put out . Backpack forever.💙
Agreed. I can’t tell if he’s just a little
Immature and doesn’t know how to handle it or maybe it’s justified based on some other talks off camera/how much kwon channel grew coming on the team for a year and a half… just spit balling
Interesting how the vibe with this is so different than when Micah and grant left for pretty much the same thing
First to run through the wall always gets bloody. - Billy Beane
@@Slimzyjoegreat quote. Never heard it before🙏
They learned their lesson from Grant and Tig leaving. At lest Bubbie didn't start bitching about loyalty again
Luke brought a happiness to good good that will deeply be missed!😢
Definitely saw this coming. Sad for the whole group (including Kwon) but happy for Kwon too. Hopefully its not a year before they can get together for a video or 2 together.
Can you explain what you saw that led you to knowing it was coming?
Love that you ended the montage on that epic ending putt at Payne's Valley. That was legendary.
Here comes a Nate Edwardson video 😂
Literally the first thing I thought of. To be honest he doesn’t even have a video because there’s nothing around like leaving. It was all addressed here
We have to learn to block stupid videos, add to your ignore list and forget about that guy
Honestly ok with it. Good Good needs a change and Kwon seemed uninterested for a while.
Dude is a leach.. Clickbait..
That guy is so fucking annoying!!
Luke's content is some of the best on UA-cam. This is what's best for the fans.
Kwon with the cleanest ball pick up I’ve ever seen…. Always something with that guy eh?
Brilliant sound quality guys.
bot account?
Definitely felt this one coming for awhile. Luke brought high caliber golf into the group and coupled with a good positive attitude, he was an awesome fit. Thanks for all the great videos Luke and good luck on your journey! I know your personal channel is popping off now and ill be keeping up with ya over there, cheers!
Such an amazing group of guys, I’m glad they all seemed into it. Kwon will be missed from these videos but the show must go on!
They have contracts as a business so I'm sure they have writing in there that gg is Main priority. That being said I can't disagree but it's youtube.
Shout out Kwon! Was good seeing you in the vids!
Luka and Steve were pure comedy. Was awesome seeing him have a run on the channels
Salute to Luke! great tribute vid at the end there, Colin and team
Good luck to Luke, loved him!
Steve and Luke have been such a vibe for such a long time yet not seen for such a long time too. Gonna miss the duo.
Good Good has become the triple A of golf channels. It's an awesome place to get started early in your career before moving on to the big leagues of solo channels. 🍻
Love Kwon, his content has been awesome recently. Happy for him
The Kwontage at the end was the perfect way to close out this video . Looking forward future collab videos. Good luck Kwon!
It's all good. There have been several generations of good good. Good Good will bring in more guys and introduce us to them. We'll love them all the same.
Love you Luke! God bless!
For a new member yall really gotta find someone with a very similar skill level to Garret. This is why grant was so perfect.
With zero offence to Garrett, Grant is pro, he could compete.
@@mikehayes3738 agree but he’s so much closer in skill to Garret than Garret is to Kwon
That is a fairly tough ask. Scratch golfers are in general fairly rare, much less guys that are scratch and have personalities that bode well for youtube content.
@@ahastar1141not when you have a pool of d1 college golfers to pick from
he's not lol, he said so himself @@mikehayes3738
@@Crushfire24 Luke had a big following well before good good
@@Crushfire24 But that's essentially what a good boss/manager/fill-in-the-blank should do.
But…did you physically throw a kitchen sink at him? That may help.
Love how it’s been addressed and not left to speculation. All the best kwon
U can feel Garrett’s saltiness thru the screen
You ain’t lyin😂😂
Lmao yeah he’s like barely looking into the camera and rubbing his hands together and making hand gestures. It sucks. He’s like the heart of good good and he just doesn’t want to see anyone leave, especially someone as good as Luke. I know he wishes the best for him tho
Damnit man.
Aww man, will miss Luke a lot. Great addition to this group and really seemed to gel well with the boys. Best of luck Luke and GG moving forward!
That's 3 now. Good Good members going independent to run their own schedule and make their own $$$ is gonna be the downfall of GG.
Literally the BEST 3 golfers of the group are gone.
brad clears all 3 that left
@@user-fb5up6eq5uno offense to Brad but the dude is not very entertaining. Most people watch GG for the vibes. Could just watch PGA if you wanted to see actual good golfing
Dalke is the best player in GG.
@@user-fb5up6eq5u nah he clears Micah but not Grant and Kwon.
@@sellyoursolyou’re insane. Clearly Kwon is the best. Go solana
Luke is in his 30s. It may suck, but it makes a lot of sense. He doesn't need a Good Good.
He needed them to get a following then left
@@agency7367he had a following as a pro golfer before good good. And if you really thought he was only here for clout why would he be leaving?
@@agency7367 you ever worked somewhere, got your experience, and left for something better?
It's all about making experience and making money.
More memories to come. Good luck, Mr. K and the good good team bring it on
Why can’t he just be in the vids occasionally still?
You guys are better together, it's the mix of all of your personalities and how you all interact with eachother that makes good good such a great channel to watch.
