watching this for the first time since the show has ended, and I love the song choice, true to the song Nick only realized how much he loved Adalind after losing her
I don't mind love triangles as long as they're more of a isosceles - with Juliette getting the short end. Though I was hoping that the jealousy angle would come from Meisner, as he is the only character I'd actually be happy with Adalind ending up if she couldn't be with Nick, but they ruined that for us. I can only hope that Juliette's presence works in our favor by having Nick make a conscience choice between the two and choose "our" girl. Because I think that unless he does that, Adalind will always wonder if he was with her because he couldn't be with Juliette. For this arc to be complete, Adalind needs to know that Juliette wasn't just taken from Nick and see herself as some sort of baby-mama consolation prize but as the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. But yeah, they better not mess this up.
I am pissed clearly every body was annoyed by julliete and a hero needs to move forward, Adalind and Nick might not be the best for each other, but the viewers have invested to much in them now, clearly the writers must come to a decision either they give us nadalind or nickette but a love triangle is out of question, everybody hates love triangle, personally I love Nadalind, truly but I'll keep watching whatever they decide, but clearly with the grimm writters it's a step forward a step backward
I believe the vast majority of viewers dislike/hate Juliette. For example, there have actually been petitions calling for that character to be killed off at least as early as season two. Personally, I thought she was drag on the show from the very beginning and just about stopped watching when they brought her back from the dead. Oddly enough, I've also sensed chemistry between the Nick and Adalind characters for just as long. As you said, it would be a terrible waste to build everything up between Nick and Adalind just to have him pick Julieve (yuck!). Although, I'm guessing the bigger barrier to Nick being with Adalind might be Diana...
I think they did a really good job at showing that this was never a triangle. Adalind never have any indication that she would betray Nick after leaving and Nick never showed any interest in whatever Juliette had become.
