Omg the little ones babbling away in the background 🥰 I bought a nice wool pad finally, after years and years or just cheap pads. And it made ALL the difference in my saddle fit! I believe it was like $125.00. One day I’ll own one of the really good ones. But for now, it’s been a great saddle pad!
Teskeys is also a fantastic website to get tack from!!! Primarily for western riders. Also love that you got a helmet. I'm a firm believer in helmets. My 150$ helmet did not come with a dust bag but my 50$ helmet did. 🤣 It's crazy. Haha.
Honestly you should totally invest in a kk herm sprenger bit the double jointed (eggbutt or loose o ring) with the lozenge absolutely life changing ! Like made it so much easier to ride my horse, so much more fluid! Like it was seriously life changing!! So highly recommend getting a kk herm sprenger bit!!
I literally live 15 minutes from the store/warehouse itself and I get most of my things from there. I was mainly an English rider so their selection for that is smaller compared to places like dover saddlery but what they do have is great quality for the price! Im getting into western now which is the store’s expertise and everything is still great quality and affordable. I totally recommend especially if you’ve got a smaller budget. :)
I’ve been wanting to order a saddle from chicks saddlery but have been kinda scared so from one equestrian to another 😂 what’s your honest opinion on them and the quality on thier stuff?
I haven’t purchased a saddle from them but everything I got I really like! Ive used this headstall a few times and it’s really nice so far. Im happy with everything! They only thing I returned was the sports medicine boots because they didn’t fit but the customer service was great!
I have gotten a saddle for them, and it is pretty good it’s a synthic western saddle or something like that but the only thing was the ladigo didn’t have holes in it! But overall it is a amazing saddle

Get a saddle pad liner keeps your saddle pad clean because the liner is washable and the pad is not
