I'm torn with some of those sets. I'm finding a lot of people I've been selling to have not even known about those sets being a part of a greater Hogwarts build and then gone on to buy more. Could there be a demand for completionists in the future after retirements.... this is where I'm at right now.
Good analysis. How many HP castle completionists are there compared to LEGO investors stacking copies of these sets? That answer will indicate either a short supply or an oversupply on the aftermarket.
40495 Harry Hermione Ron and Hagrid brickheadz is also scheduled to retire, and even though we have seen previous versions of them in brickheadz form I think it might be worth picking up a few before it retires otherwise good analysis, keep it up!
Interesting, that 40495 wasn't on the BrickFanatics list but I am now seeing it's a possible retirement. I dislike the small size of the 3 protagonists, but on a 20% discount & GWP from LEGO it should multiply in value very nicely! Thanks for the comment.
@@DGBricksYT it is just not in the HP section but rather in the brickheadz list dunno why, yeah I agree but I think it might be appealing down the line for new collectors to get all 3 main characters in a combo pack but just like you said first finding a good deal on it
Hedwig, Hungarian Horntail and Professor's Brickheadz is pretty much it for me. I'm also kind of curious in 12 Grimmauld Place. It looks cool and I've seen Rebrickables for it, but I feel it's risky so I need a better than average discount on it.
I love 12 Grimmauld for investing. Minifigs are currently trading at ≈55€ on Bricklink and the building is really cool. I got 3 during the event so around 80€/u after selling the GWP and I just snatched 3 for the same price at a store near me. I wouldn’t buy it at full price or even at 100€. But -40% on any licensed Lego set is a big yes for me. I also got 28 horntails at 27,5€/u avg partly because of your opinion. I don’t know if these two will sell easy here in Europe but I know I’m not losing money if they do
I forgot! Looks like 76403 Ministry of Magic is due to retire. I like the set personally but I've ever seen a $100 HP set on permanent 30% sale so for investment I'm steering so far clear.
I love the list! Polyjuice is a horrible investment in my opinion, not an okay one, but everything else is in agreeance with what I have. Thanks for the video!

hands down hedwig is going to do the best. Horntail will be a sleeper and may do better than hedwig in the long run. Great vid!
