Thanks again for the video! Was just smoking some Pirate Kake the other day for the first time - 75% Latakia. No, the room note won't make any friends, but Latakia flake burns nice and cool and slow, with a sweet, spicy smoke. A good one to try as well is the Brebbia Balkan. Have a nice evening!
I have a friend who bought me a few blends from this brand, including aromatics. He hasn’t handed over them yet. Looking forward to trying them. Here is a fun and weird fact: Although it is a Turkish brand, produced by a Turkish manufacturer (gladora tobacco as you showed), they only export their tobacco. Saying this as a Turkish :)

Kopp only sells it but it is produced by gladora. I Like the Oriental one, but o must try the other two. The taste ist different Thank every other tobacco i had ever smoked, but i like it.

I watched a review yesterday on their Latakia-40 that as the name suggests uses a 40% Latakia ratio in the blend, it also had a positive review. All 3 blends are available at one of the tobacconists I frequent. I'll have to get the 3 tins to try✌️

Thanks to you for the comment...the flaks are really inviting....they look like a baked product...something you can eat from the box...the consistency is a little rubbery and the stiffness is that of a wholemeal cracker...almost...😅

Interesting baccy tins there! I like the half tin idea instead of the big blocks normaly seen with SG or GH blends ... something different I guess. Hello Briarbroom, There is a third one of this series, the Latakia 40, but I bought exactly the two one you have. Why? As you told me, the Latakia 20 gets more speed and taste from the middle on. Thats the same for Latakia 40, but for me it gets too much. Therefore I'm happy with the two onces you have. I like the orientals as well a as a small prize of Latakia. Concerning the moisture of this tobacco. If you tell me, that it is dry, then you give me the proof, that these boxes are not the right place to store the tobacco. Normally this tobacco is very wet, that you can't smoke it out of the box. OK for non aromatics is dryness not a big problem, but I would prefer to store other things in these nice boxes then tobacco. What I do with such boxes? I put them in a empty 500 gr Haribo box together with a Boveda pack. They close tight and keep the moisture. It is also a good possibility to store samples you get in plastic bags. There I split into aromatics and the rest to mix not up the taste too much. Yes it is a tobacco from Kopp. If they distribute only or repack the tobaccos, I do not know. But I will check it in my German Whatsapp chat rooms and tell you. I hope I was able to give you some additional news and hints. Christmas greetings Jürgen
Juergen, thanks again...the tins are beautiful and I like the size...but they definately don't keep like they should...I was surprised how dry the tobacco is because Latakia usually is quite moist so one even has to fight to keep the bowl alight...I will definately transfer them 🥰
Actually in the latakia flake i didn't detect any plum flavour, but in the oriental flakes seems there is plum casing and not only....very big greetings! 💕😉

Someone said that this might have a plum essence. Did you notice a topping or essence?
