I was burn out trying to live Christianity. Then one day, out of despair, i intentionally looked up some motivational christian videos on youtube. Stumbled on one of his sermons and my life has tremendously changed. Praise Jesus for pastor Prince.
Amen, there is NO way or no such thing as trying to Live the Christian life..... Its Christ in YOU the hope of Glory. Becoming on earth, who the Father already sees us as in Heaven 2Cor3:18!
Joseph Prince is the best. But i remember few years ago, he told us that we still have to pay for the consequences of our wrong behaviors, actions, sins. So, does it mean that we still have to suffer sickness, poverty, loneliness, tragedies because we are punished by our sins ( not for our sins) by the law of the Universe? God does not punish us, but He already created the law of love and other laws in the Universe like the law of gravity etc... If we break the law, we have to reap bad consequences in this world. If we steal, kill, lie, , we might have to go to jail. So, how can Grace save us? Please explain to me. I know that the goodness of God leads us to repentance, that sin has no dominion over me because i am not under law but under grace. But we are not perfect. As long as we still have the flesh, we will sin. Thank you.
I don't know what you are referring to, i.e which sermon specifically, but I think he might have meant we suffer the consequences of our actions. However, even from the consequences of our actions we are saved, by grace, if you will believe. You are absolutely correct - we are saved by grace. However, it says in Colossians 2 that our flesh has been circumcised from our hearts when we came to Jesus!!! It's gone!! U are saved by grace. Did you know that 1 Peter 2:24, where it says "by His stripes we were healed": did you know that "healed" (blueletterbible.com) also means "saved from errors and sins"? Check it out!!! Be blessed!!
