Awesome video !! I still have the full original set series 1 to 15 in a binder. If memory serves the reason the later series look different is because the cabbage patch company sued Topps and they had to change the cards to make them look less like cabbage patch dolls lol.

I was a bit too old for the Garbage Pail Kids .... I used to collect scraps 💗 loved buying a pack of scraps every Saturday with my pocket money and spent ages making up pictures and stories with them
wow when you picked up the binder and showed an original set from 86 not a reprint but the actual real cards my mouth hit my floor, I know this video from the time of me posting is already over a year old but I just found it, and I can say something in me also has kind of woken up and now i'm on my hunt for garbage pail kids, thank you for sharing, great video edit: // I noticed something at 23:20 when you held up finger neil, it has a splash of green around the border, then I watched the whole video again and a few of the new cards have special borders, I believe those are like gold nuggets in the packs, special collector type not just the regular style, you might have something special there, look them up :)
Girl, we the same age lol I was 6 in 1986 as well. I LOVE GPK!!! I don't still have the ones I had back then, sadly, but I did pick up a set of like 50 or 75 cards of the newer sets. I need MORE! LOL

I remember my sons got these but it was upsetting to my sweet daughter. The boys had to keep them in their bedroom so they would not scare her. I found out later that she had nightmares that her cabbage patch doll would turn evil...that's what her brothers told her. Parenthood is crazy hard😘

I remember my classmates having these. Honestly, I can't remember now if my mom wouldn't let me have them, or I just wasn't all that interested. 😄 Though I did notice their similarity to Cabbage Patch dolls.
They were actually made to make fun of cabbage patch kids. Since they were the top selling toy back then. I'm really surprised my parents let us have them. Lol.
You need to check out the Garbage Pail Kids movie that came out in 1987. About 7 years ago I bought it for my kids. Very 80"s. I loved it when I was a kid.

I remember my sons got these but it was upsetting to my sweet daughter. The boys had to keep them in their bedroom so they would not scare her. I found out later that she had nightmares that her cabbage patch doll would turn evil...that's what her brothers told her. Parenthood is crazy hard😘

I remember my classmates having these. Honestly, I can't remember now if my mom wouldn't let me have them, or I just wasn't all that interested. 😄 Though I did notice their similarity to Cabbage Patch dolls.
They were actually made to make fun of cabbage patch kids. Since they were the top selling toy back then. I'm really surprised my parents let us have them. Lol.

You need to check out the Garbage Pail Kids movie that came out in 1987. About 7 years ago I bought it for my kids. Very 80"s. I loved it when I was a kid.
