My dad has some wood carvings from his grandfather. He was Scandinavian and a wood carver. He used to make busts for ships, among other things. I love your work. Really great.
That is amazing! I would love to see some pictures sometimes! Thank you for the kind words!
I love love LOVE watching you work! Your explanations and way you do everything is so inspiring. Thank you for that!
You should never be stressed when creating. If that means we only see part of some projects, that's okay! You take care of YOU first!
Take care, and again, thank you! 🤗
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words!
Stunning piece of work 👌. You have been a massive inspiration for me
So happy to hear that! Thank you!
I'm glad you're doing better and are back!
Thank you!
It really looks incredible. Great job!😃👍
Thank you so much!
Love your work buddy. Look after yourself! Health is always first, everything is second. That goes for mental as well as physical health. Being a Swede and old viking descendant I highly approve of your viking inspired art. I am not as good as you when it comes to drawing so I use designs I find on internet and make viking inspired bearded axes for fun. Love it. Stay well and look after yourself
Thank you for the kind words my friend!
AWESOME WORK MAN!! I'm from South Africa and only just started to engrave and wood carving like just a little over 4 months ago but so far I like glass engraving the most and your videos taught me everything I know now and you give the most straight examples and explanations so thanks a lot for all your videos'
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the kind words!
Glad you commented on my video so I could discover your channel! You do awesome work. Could totally relate to the burnout of feeling the need to put everything on camera... sometimes can kill the enjoyment! That's why I took a break from my main channel to do some more casual stuff on this newer side channel.
Fabulous, You have inspired me so much. Love watching your channel. Your work is amazing.
I'm so glad! Thank you!
I like watching you work your designs as you go. its a work in progress and there are no mistakes just a learning experience.
in also think its great that you talk about having burn out. every one gets to a point of shutting down and that's ok. take some time walk away and regroup.
its like they say its not that you fell down its that you get back up and try again.
Wise words, Kirby! Thank you!
Informative and beautifully shot video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks amazing 👍😉
Thank you!
Your work is amazing
Thank you, Cilla!
Super helpful; as always!
Glad you found it helpful!
That was excelent. Thank you for sharing with us. im going to try find the book.
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice designs! I love that smoke extractor.
I like it too!
Thank you for your video's. I am a new burner and burn with Razortips. Thanks for your insights.
Glad you are enjoying the videos!
Thanks for sharing with us, bud. Markussen's book is an awesome reference!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I am learning so much!
Great job, bro! Time for me to break down and get a Razertip!!
You won’t regret it!
Your box is awesome! Very inspiring. I bought 4 wood coasters that I'd like to woodburn a Celtic knotwork design or Viking motif on. Sorry you got a little stressed out about making your video! Sometimes I put off creating, because I'm not sure I could sell what I make. But that doesn't matter, as long as you enjoy creating. Enjoy the journey, no matter the destination.
excellent
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sweet!! Nice video Matt. I just started working on a round wooden box design. I think I might do some burning on that. We'll see what happens.
Thank you man! Send me some pics when you are done!
I enjoyed this video so much. Beautiful workmanship , enhanced by your wonderfully creative mindset.
To do a thing with love is to do it well. The love for your craft shows.
Don’t fight against perfectionism, use it as force for good. God is in the details.
Continue to allow the art to flow through you, rather than from you. ❤
Thank you for the kind words!
Beautiful burn friend 🔥☺️
My secret is watching people like you!!!
@@CorneliusCreations ☺️🙏🏻
You best!
Thank you my Russian friend!
I love watching your videos as the instruction etc is great. I couldn't find a link for where you buy your gift boxes, care to share that?
I just pickup this hobby. Enjoy your work.
Glad you are inspired!
I use a soft brass bristle brush too😃👍
Haha awesome!
😂😂😂
I wanna do all the baseboards and trim in my bedroom and then move on until I make it to the kitchen, doing the wood burning Sugi Ban style and then doing designs over that, staining it and coating it and moving on.. don't care if it takes me 5yrs and $5000 in materials because this is cool!
That sounds awesome!
What us the music play? Love it!! Awsome eork man!!
Man, I totally feel the same way about having to turn the camera on every time I burn. It really burns me out. Also, we use the same tools! You clearly have good taste 😆
Haha, thank you so much, Sarah!
I just got my razor tip delivered. Haven’t really had the chance to use it. I need to come up with a new project. Plus I’m going on vacation in a few days so I’ll get something during that time. I can’t wait to do something.
You will love it!
@@CorneliusCreations definitely! So the work you do just did? Amazing. I’m unfortunately not that great at free hand drawing. Sort of jealous lol. Thank you for the videos you put out. It’s very helpful.
Hail yea!!! Awesome Matt. It looks absolutely gorgeous. Well done.... thats one of the few books I used for all my nordic carvings and burnings. I'll send ya some other books I use on ig. Maybe they'll help ya with a few more ideas of yours...
When you turned your heat to setting 6. Is that with your tiny black knob turned all the way up?? Or do you have that set somewhere else???
The tiny black knob is a little over half!
I am wondering what propane torch you would reconmend for when wood burning?
Dremel or Benzomatic :)
What’s that thing you’re using for the smoke ?
Razertip smoke extractor
What size pencil are you using?
#2!
Where can I get gift boxes like that?
I got mine at hobby lobby, a local craft store.
Is that pine wood ?
