A great video with top tips. I live in Pilling nr Lancaster. We have a very sandy loam soil, that can be very wet and also dry. It’s tidal, but we do get moss and it can be a bugger to get shut of. It grows great pratas though. Take care fellas 👍🏻
Fascinating chat and not a bit boring. Can you tell me what concentration of Iron should be used to kill the moss and over what area it should be spread? Say for a lawn of 100m2--how much iron should i dissolve in what volume of liquid? Thanks for sharing your expertise..
Thanks for the feedback. On my lawns and bowling greens I aim for between 5-10g per m2. Now I’ve seen people put it on with a spreader but you must be sure that rain is imminent or you have irrigation. Personally I always put through a sprayer 5-10g per litre of h2o to be safe. @@murtaghslawncare. yes no problem applying now. When I worked in the golf industry we applied monthly throughout the winter, also good at keeping Fusarium in check. If you can verticut after application even better but probably better done in the spring. Good luck and hope you’ve a good Xmas
