I'm just starting this kit and I'm finding the instructions to be a little rough as it said to paint "all sides except top and bottom" of the first three pieces. So I painted both sides and then realized I have to glue paper to one side instead. 😢. I hope the glue sticks still 😅.
Excellent! I have the artists studio kit (same company as your kit) sitting "over there" that I've been putting off making because I don't have anywhere to set it after it's done. We're in the process of moving things around, so I'll be able to make it after we're finished. I'm really looking forward to playing with it. Anyway... you're video is very well done and I like that you didn't follow things exactly. I want to use coffee sticks for my floors and different papers for the walls. I am a paper crafter so paper isn't an issue... choosing which paper to use is another matter. LOL Thank you for the clear way you present what you're doing!
I'm starting mine this morning. I'm in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. I was so happy to find your narrated step-by-step tutorial. Thank you so much. (P.S. I may alter my shop a bit too to suit my liking.) ☺️🌴🇺🇸
That’s funny, this kit was one of my least favorite. The directions were pretty bad compared to ones I’ve done before. And the quality of materials not great
Thank you! I found the bamboo at my local art shop but they have stopped selling it sadly. You might be able to find something similar online or even repurpose an old bamboo placemat. Stained coffee stirrers would also create a similar look. 😊

Yes I had some difficulty with the instructions too! I still haven't finished mine. Good luck! 😄

Glad it was helpful! Good luck with yours! 😊
This was my first ever kit that got me into miniatures! I love seeing your own style of it 😍 can’t wait to see your next video of the coffee shop 🩷

@@ava-jq4uq I agree! Directions were not as clear as many other kits and I just didn't enjoy creating it.
The paint is total crap, I just went and bought a small Decoart, not much of an improvement tho!
I use gesso before I paint. It really helps. I agree that the paint they send is crap.
Thanks for this! I bought one and I’m a little intimidated!
It is definitely harder to assemble than I thought it would be! 😅 Good luck!
You can use an old credit card for smoothing wallpaper down evenly. Lovely colors.

You pull the thin sheet off the plastic, correct?
Yes, if it has one. It helps to protect the plastic from scratches before you use it.
How do I find part two?
Hi @jeanpence7950 I have a Playlist for all of the videos in this series. If you go to my channel page and video or Playlist tab it should come up. 🙂
I like what you did with the floors. Where did you find the bamboo flooring? Thanks!
