It depends on the accent, some in the interior of Brazil pronounce the R like the Spanish and Italians, others pronounce the R as aspirated almost the same as the French, some in the interior of São Paulo and Goiás pronounce the R a little like the English, the letters T and D are also pronounced differently in some states, in Recife Pernambuco and other cities in Northeast Brazil they pronounce the 'T' and 'D' in the same way as in Spanish, the 'S' of the cariocas always sounds like 'Sh ', but cariocas are not the only ones who speak with the S 'Sh', other states in the north of the country also pronounce the 'S' with the sound of 'Sh' just like the cariocas
yes for most brazilians! only a minority in mostly rural areas would speak more like original latin. remember that brazilian portuguese is not “normal” portuguese, it actually sounds like a different language if you compare it with european portuguese
