It would surely help if more attention was paid to removing all the trees and shrubs that Network Rail has allowed encroaching on the railway estate. Muirhouse Junction is a classic case, becoming a jungle where 20 years ago it was clear. There's even shrubs growing over the catenary wires just south of Pollokshileds East. So come on, get the weedkilling trains on the go as they used to do.

Many freight companies have contracts with network rail to operate these rail head treatment trains for network rail.

Weedkiller they use is no good, it's got fertiliser in it the way things grow... just needs some good chaih saws.
