Lauv is the one singing the first part of the song that’s all in English. The song is for the Army, the girl represents the fans and the boy represents BTS. If you change "you" for "army" you’ll understand the song better 💜
the animation represents the hero's journey, relating to the theme of their current and unpcoming album, ispired by carl jung's map of the soul. whilst at the same time telling the story between bts and armys. the girl appeared when that person was down and needed help. she kept them company and when they needed it, she became a cape that protected them, then they went on that journey, overcame all the hardships, the mockery and hatred thrown at the them(like shown in one scene) the hero fell down but got back up, he came face to face with his fear (dragon) and conquered (killing the dragon) at the end even tho he won, he still misses his friend, thinking he was alone until the girl came back to her original form, saying that he was never really alone and she was there with him, protecting him this whole time (by the hero wearing the cape through his journey). both characters represent BOTH army and bts as we've played both roles in each other's lives. by the way, you won't receive copyright strike for any video that comes from bts' official channel so don't worry about it.
Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. (A large story) 1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers 2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc 3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) have to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul:persona" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung. 4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble. 5. They have a lot of genres and you can find subtitles in every possible language.
I have say to the B & S Show, that I call BS on the call that BTS are not KPop anymore...they are most internationally successful Kpop group ever..., plus they clearly as group acknowledged other KPop groups such as Bigbang as an inspiration to them. From a quick search online it appears that movement to claim BTS is not KPop comes largely from international fans who wish for whatever reason to distance it from KPop. I generally don't make comments like this, but I think this comment needs to be called out as BS.
@@christopheryoung3850 Of course they are K Pop. I think many reactors including here are actually trying to compliment BTS in expanding beyond traditional K Pop, for instance here Ed Sheeran is involved in the composition. BTS will become more international but will always be inextricably tied to K Pop. And in becoming more international they will open doors for other groups which deserve recognition. Pigeon holing and getting emotional about it is unnecessary. Enjoy that people enjoy. BTS will find success if you spread love and music rather than fighting skirmishes in their name.
Hi Eric, I am sorry if my humour did not come across come in my writing and comes across as emotional. I was simply attempting to correct what I saw as an incorrect statement. I did not seek to contest BTS's work at the internationalisation of the Korean Pop music by collaboration with other big name international artists.
@@christopheryoung3850 All good. We both love the boys. Reactors quite often come to their presentation with little preparation so we both wince sometimes at this or that. Ultimately they spread BTS to new audiences so I like gently educating them when they seem to miss this or that. You are a brother in arms so to speak so keep speaking your mind.

This is a collaboration initially between BTS and Ed Sheeran who co-wrote it, original track is included in their Persona album and they performed at The Stephen Colbert show. This is a new remix where they collaborated with Lauv. Lauv didn't appear in the MV but he sang the first part of this remix. Also, this song is actually an ode to the fanbase (both lyrically and MV too) - Armys..
Great reaction as always, thank u! This song & MV is actually an ode / tribute to ARMYs & shows just how much of an impact ARMYs have had on their lives. It features footage of both BTS & ARMYS frm their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" world tour as well as an animation of a young man who finds strength & companionship in a young woman, which depicts the relationship between BTS & ARMY, where the boy cud only slay the dragon w/ the support & protection of the young woman (figuratively) by his side - did u notice the girl turned into a blanket/cape too? BTS have always said that their fans are as integral to their success as their music & as we gain strength frm their music, they gain strength frm us too. No matter how many dragons BTS have faced on their way to the top, "Make It Right" is a truly touching & meaningful reminder that ARMYS were & will always be there to fight alongside them, & in return, they'll help their fans to slay their monsters, too. Pls note that when we talk abt BTS' struggle or the hate they got frm the beginning, it's not a shtick, it's very real. How we came to be is that fans were so touched by BTS' relatable lyrics, messages & the telling of their own stories, which was so different to wot was out there, ARMYS became a word of mouth, grass roots movement. BTS wrote songs/lyrics abt peer pressure, parental pressure, loneliness, mental health, struggling to love yourself, or be yourself, or tryna figure out who u are - we gained such stength frm them (frm both their official albums & member's mixtapes), ARMY became a word of mouth, grass roots movement that the traditional / mainstream gatekeepers cudn't explain. Tho systems were not in place for BTS to succeed, BTS continued to steadily rise & break into the US Billboard charts w/out having had any radioplay or TV when they 1st came to be nominated for a Billboard Music Award for the Top Social Artist in 2017 (their 1st ever official US appearance, what a stage to do it on!), the industry didn't know wot hit em! Ppl did not see em coming, cos the media/industry is supposed to tell u who to like. Similarly, in the UK where they'd had no media coverage WOTSOEVER, the 1st time they ever set foot there was to perform at the famous O2 arena for 2 sold out nights. Huge British artists struggle to fill those seats & perfom there, let alone for 2 nights. Ppl were like, who the hell are they & they were largely mocked? The sweetest moment came when a mere 8 months later, BTS hit the British shores again, but this time to 2 sold out shows to the Iconic & Legendary WEMBLEY STADIUM. No Korean or Asian artist has ever managed to hold a solo concert there. Like so many firsts, BTS had made history again. The significance didn't go unnoticed & RM said to the fans at the concert: "We broke a wall" of language & culture. Since BTS hit the US shores in 2017 & seeing their continued success, every US label has now fully signed their own K-Act hoping to have their own piece of the pie. But what's incredible is that BTS has rejected all offers to be signed to a US label so they cud have full autonomy over their work. They only have a distrubution deal w/ Columbia, whereas other acts have full US label support. In a candid documentary, one of the members said that they cud've gotten to where they are faster since they broke out in a major way, but that they chose to be happy & do their own thg their own way, without compromise.
this song isn't a kpop. And BTS isn't a kpop group. Ppl just assume they are BC they "look" like what a kpop group would look like. BTS cant be placed in a box, they've touched on almost every genre &most of their songs are hip hip, R&B & slows. Thanks for the react
I don't know if anyone told you guys but Ed Sheeran is a writer on this song....hence why it sounds even more westernized maybe...This mv is BigHit content so you should be fine! It's their own footage from their concerts...similar to their concert movies.
Big Hit wont come after reactors for covering their content. They know what you all are doing helps spread their product to new audiences. The only BTS content you need to be cautious of is the award show stuff because Big Hit doesn't own that footage. The TV channel showing the award show owns it. Love your reactions. Keep em coming.
Glad you guys loved it!! I think since it's the official MV you should be ok, but who knows for sure these days. I look forward to y'alls reaction to "Who Is BTS: The Seven Members of Bangtan."
TRENDY MUSIC, CULTURE, PERFORMANCE. K-POP! THATS WHY ITS LEADING WHOLE ASIAN MARKET AND TO THE WORLD! K-POP is Trendy & On Point for sure! NOT JUST US/UK POP SCENE ANYMORE LOL!
I think one other reactor summarizes BTS really well: They are no longer a Kpop group trying to break into the West. They are a World Pop Artist who happens to be Korean.
this song is about the fans, army. the character represent BTS and the girl is Army (or the coat, lol). yeah its about army. they thanked us. i shed a tears when i first understand the lyrics.. they got me
Nah, you guys are safe. Its more with certain live shows that you gotta be careful. All official MVs are safe. Lauv is a feature, he sang the first part in english. He seems to be an emerging artist, but i hear his song “i like me better when im with you” on the radio all the time. Have you heard it?
Lauv sang in the beginning and this song is for us(army) if u watch the animated part the blonde girl is us and the boy is bts we came to them when they were sad and crying and if u watch the girl transforms into the jacket to be withem always and helped them through when they wanted to quit and were getting mocked in the end helped them slay the dragon( haters) by being their shield...
You probably already know but for the record, the boy in the Animation represents bts and the girl represents army. The boy passed all the hard ships with the help of the girl(bts had to go through a LOT of hardships in their career, on top of that there was personal struggle too, members suffered from severe depression, social anxiety etc.). The girl is his protector. He could finaly slay the monster (it can be self loathing or depression) inside himself.
The original version of Make It Right was produced by Ed Sheeran for BTS. This is the remix version feat Lauv. Check out their Live performance at the Stephen Colbert Show.
Thanks for reacting to this. Ed Sheeran sent them the hook via email after reaching out to them cause he wanted to give this song to them.... then they took it and added their lyrics and special touches, then Lauv came to their concert in the UK and they talked about collaborating and BTS told him he needed to work with them on this remix and he was soooooo excited. Love the message to ARMY and the appreciation for that relationship..... typically the MV's issued by BigHit don't result in strikes to reactors but every once in a while something weird happens and one or two get a strike for something others still have out there.... not sure what triggers it.... hope you don't get targeted... Thanks again!!!
This song/video is a homage to the relationship between BTS and ARMY. If you react to from Nobodies to Legends Pt2 (Pt 1 is unfortunately no longer available ) you'll understand why. But the gist of it is, the story is BTS is the hero and the girl represents ARMY who have been fighting alongside BTS from the start when they were told they would never make it and receive a lot of hate and criticism for being a group form a small company among other things back in 2013-2017. The song itself isnt new, its one of the B-sides from Map of the Soul: Persona, which is their newest EP. The album was released in April of this year and it is currently the best selling album worldwide. Make it Right was written by Ed Sheeran as a gift to BTS, and BTS wrote most of the Korean lyrics, and all the rap parts. This remix features Lauv (american singer) at the start of the song singing the first two verses of the song in english. I'd reccomend watching Make it Right live performance at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert so you can hear how the original sounds with live vocals, its honestly beautiful. As for getting copyright strikes, for the most part Big Hit doesnt issue copyright claims to reactions, but you can either pause the song a few times to add commentary, or ive seen channels that alter the sound just a bit to avoid the copyright. Thanks for the reaction. Ps. In regards to reacting to Who is BTS? Video, just keep in mind that said video is already quite old and while it is still very informative, it doesnt quite truly reflect the characters of the members (since it is a fan made video) or many of the things each of the members are known for. And many of the things it mentions about the members are also things they've since grown from. I'd reccomend watching the video BTS Contributions to Music to learn more about BTS as musical act as well.
@@dtamtam9515 its not deleted, but i guess it got copyright strike so its not accessible anymore. But usually when i want to rewatch it and cry (lol) i look for reactions to it :')
Thas so fucked up the part 1 is esential in my opinion since it shows some important things that in the 2nd part dont. I think is sad bcs every new army should watch it. I hope the begining of Bangtans journey dont get lost in all of the recent content bcs that would be tragic!!
@@EnderKichi Hello. Many Reactors Put Those Videos On Their Patreon Channel. If She Didn't, Maybe Someone Else Has Their Reaction To The Video. ♥️💜😇 BANGTWICE 😇💜♥️
Big Hit DOES copyright their videos but they don’t strike it. They just claim rights and money for it. But it’s only with BIG HIT videos! Any other video of BTS (music shows, interviews, other companies videos and CFs) CAN STRIKE YOU! You’re totally safe ONLY with the content from *Big Hit’s official channel* and *Bangtan TV* channel as that content is free, as long as you state that you don’t have any rights to the content, like in the description (don’t upload content from BTS DVDs, since those aren’t free, they will strike you for them).
Thank you for your reaction! I really think you would both like Serendipity, Jimin's solo song, and Singularity, V's solo song (yes, from BTS). They have music videos for them. I also think you would really like Seesaw, Suga's solo, and the group singing 134340 and HOME. Those three don't have MVs, but there are lyrics videos. You don't have to film a reaction to those, as much as I would enjoy them, but you should give them a listen.

I don't know if anyone told you guys but Ed Sheeran is a writer on this song....hence why it sounds even more westernized maybe...This mv is BigHit content so you should be fine! It's their own footage from their concerts...similar to their concert movies.
Man, you won me with the Steelers cap. Kkk.
Brian, this song is for ARMY. 💜 we are each other's hero (BTS x ARMY). Hugs from Brazil.
i like how yall keep it real and no fake reactsions
BTS doesn’t make kpop music, they just make music.
Thank you for the words. It happens the same to me, specially with Jungkook (Kookie) For people that we are following Bts for years, we love them
BTS always gives us hints as to what's coming and there's a theory that one new song will be called hero and the album name will be shadow. 💜😃
I've been binge watching your reactions to BTS and I'm loving them :) keep it up 👍💜
Yes!!! Can't wait for the Who is "BTS - The Seven Members of Bangtan" reaction!! 💜☂️
Bts dedicated this song and Mv for Armys
I'm blink, but i love this song... i just got addicted by this song 😅, the lyric is so meaningful, and so deep
Yes! Hero’s journey! That’s the first thought I had when I watched this video.
This isn’t really new this came out in April when map of the soul : persona album came out ❤️❤️ and the first person who sung the first verse was lauv
It's BTS-pop now
Omg I’m addicting to you guys. Stan remains so much my dad, but cooler 😄 hi from Brazil 🇧🇷
BTS has many beautiful songs in album, that is not just a promotional song,
The truth untold, Butterfly, Best of me, Dionysus and other song.👍😁
Glad you guys loved it!! I think since it's the official MV you should be ok, but who knows for sure these days.
I look forward to y'alls reaction to "Who Is BTS: The Seven Members of Bangtan."
Make it right was written by Ed Sheeran. It is on their album Map of the Soul. It was released in April 2019. Lauv is the remix.
REACT TO “BTS PERFORMS MAKE IT RIGHT AT THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT” This is a Live Performance and it’s the original mix of the song.
yes.
Love your reaction
Nice! Thanks, Cherie!
pls react bts HOME u will like it i swear, 🤧💜😭
Sky Wong oh ya? Why? Did she delete it? :(
@@dtamtam9515 its not deleted, but i guess it got copyright strike so its not accessible anymore. But usually when i want to rewatch it and cry (lol) i look for reactions to it :')
Best coment.
This is one of the track from their latest EP map of the soul persona. Check their album, its a BOP
i hope you react to the live performance of this song!
First? Yes, Lauv started the song singing the English section
ARE YOU DONE? Jeez...
No I’m kidding
...it’s fine-WHATEVER
what goes on in your brains 😂
Just a little fact about Make It Right, Ed Sheeran actually give this song to BTS. He wanted them to have it as a gift.
Thank you~💜🙏
"BTS contribution to music" please
MAKE IT RIGHT 💜🔥
💜Bts💜❤jiiiiimiiiin💙💜❤
This one should be safe guys, it is an MV for the song that was released in April this year.
BTS LOVE 😍😍😘
Loved it!
I cried after i know the meaning of lyrics this video 😖💜
Big Hit DOES copyright their videos but they don’t strike it. They just claim rights and money for it.
But it’s only with BIG HIT videos! Any other video of BTS (music shows, interviews, other companies videos and CFs) CAN STRIKE YOU! You’re totally safe ONLY with the content from *Big Hit’s official channel* and *Bangtan TV* channel as that content is free, as long as you state that you don’t have any rights to the content, like in the description (don’t upload content from BTS DVDs, since those aren’t free, they will strike you for them).
the first lines were lauv. originally it was tae's line but in remix lauv sang them.
it is the best reaction 👏🏻✨🔥
This is not new song. But on one album with Boys with luv and Dionysius. This is remix version with Lauv. The song itself cowritten by Ed Sheeran
Bighit MVs are safe so every bts songs are safe to react to
your safe BIGHIT themselves made this video
I can't wait for your Lisa of blackpink introduction and 7 members of bangtan intro
You shouldn’t get your channel taken down for this. It’s an official music video. Not associated with the korean tv channels
You guys are safe on this one!
I do think I might like the original a little better, but I love this and the video is great. 💜💜💜
I just want to put it out there BTS IS NOT K-POP, they are a league of their own.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you for your reaction! I really think you would both like Serendipity, Jimin's solo song, and Singularity, V's solo song (yes, from BTS). They have music videos for them. I also think you would really like Seesaw, Suga's solo, and the group singing 134340 and HOME. Those three don't have MVs, but there are lyrics videos. You don't have to film a reaction to those, as much as I would enjoy them, but you should give them a listen.
Thank you. I do hope you check out the original as well....there is no mv for it though.
BTS❤️❤️❤️
If you look at when the boyband girl take each other's hand, their arms and shadows make the BTS symbol. The song is to ARMY.
BTS+ARMY=FAMILY
💜💜💜🤟💜💜💜
A Song From BTS to ARMY.........also listen to the original to hear the difference...This song was a gift from Ed Sheeran to BTS...
You should see BTS’s songs like Not Today, Fire, Blood Sweat and Tears, Idol etc
