The therapist joke is messed up in a way considering that episodes prior that he said he didn't trust therapists and then decided to seek a therapy when realized that not all therapists are bad and that he has some issues he needs to talk about... for then it being used against him for a game
I don’t like the therapy episode. Jake never had a problem with Therapists before Season 6, it was a random character trait they added for that episode, same with him not wanting kids in Case-cation. Season 6 was a mess, it has all my least favourite episodes.
@@valentinaosmanforero7549 I loved the following seasons tbh, its just 6 I have major issues with. And even then there are still episodes I really enjoyed.
for christ’s sake it’s a comedy show. jake isn’t a real person with trust issues and the funny thing about the halloween heist was always how absurd and out of line they all went bc of a stupid prize
The fake therapist joke always irked me because of the way Jake struggled to trust therapists and the fact that his wife and one of his best friends used it against him for the sake of a game. The trust that took him years to build up to, then getting held at gunpoint by another therapist, then finding out his new one is fake. AND THEN THAT THEY INSULTED HIM FOR BEING UPSET THAT HIS THERAPIST IS A HIRED ACTOR.
Jake becoming friends (kind of) with a child murdering cannibal is genuinely a very dark narrative development. Even if Caleb is an extremely pleasant, affable gentleman :P
i mean. that is the point. she's an actress, these are scripted scenes. are they weird? absolutely but that doesn't mean chelsea peretti is a bad person. she's playing a character in a fictional, over-exaggerated sitcom.
Imagine it’s a fake tv show designed to make people laugh. Switching the script and having a lady do something a guy never could is funny sometimes if done right.
It's like people didn't pay attention to the show at all, especially the bits with Charles in it. That's the whole point of his character, you get what he means but it sounds offensive but you know without a second thought that he didn't mean anything offensive.
I know it's just a tv show but I'm so annoyed at Rosa and Amy for spying in on his therapy(and it wasn't even a real therapist they hired an actress) when they know he was a hard time opening up to people
The most unrealistic thing about the relationship between Jake and Caleb is that they would not be friends bc Caleb harmed children and many inmates and convicts have problems with those who harm children
the premise that these are problematic and off-color jokes is the reason comedies are not being made anymore. does no one have a sense of irony? and how many of these jokes are explained in the process of telling them and they're still considered problematic? Puritans were would be bored by what we are becoming. when the shortest path to dopamine is indignation the only joy is misery
Funny right up to but not including the end. That last clip is heavy handed and preachy. It had a “this week on a very special episode of…” vibe that does not belong in an otherwise irreverent comedy.
I never paid enough attention to everybody's faces when Hitchcock walked in with his Hitchcock out. Charles looked genuinely disturbed😂😂😂
HIS HITCHCOCK HELP THAT'S SO FUNNY 😭😭
HIS HITCHCOCK 😭😭😭😭😭😭
@itsthejavavoid thank you, I was pretty proud of that one😂
Everyone’s eyes flicking down
Hitchcock with Hiscock
„They were children Jake weak little children“ should not be sending me this hard😂😂😂
RIGHT! I came here to say the same thing its bad how much I loved the Caleb character "you eat the evidence"
Right?! "Man, my cousin was so tasty" and then you realize his cousin mightve not being the same age as he 😬 Hilarious character though
I love the "Black Male" scene😂
He completely forgot about Terry in that scene, lol.
I literally just said that out loud 😂
Its just so Undeniably a Boyle dialogue , no one else could get away with it

I love how the 'black male' joke implies Charles no longer wants anything to do with Terry either
My favorite bit is when Amy admits she usually yells “I’m in uniform” because of how excited she is.
"youre not fooling anyone, kevins zipper is up for gods sake"
"Do you know what it means to clap back, Raymond? BE-CAUSE-I-DO!" ❤💚🖤
"Now I'm feelin' objectified by your male gaze!"
Such a banger line!
4:24 "Kevin zipper is up for God's sake"😂
Yeah Gina's flirting got weird in retrospect after Terry Crews talked about his SA experience.
I’ve always thought it was creepy. That is one of the reasons I don’t really like Gina
It was always weird
@@helenaotam5596 same
Yeah, it was meant to be weird. Terry repeatedly points out that it is weird, and it is never meant to be seen as anything but weird.
@@floppydisksareopyeah but no one ever calls her out on it

It's called dark humour, lots of shows deploy it. Look at the classic Simpsons episode of Frank Grimes and how it ended for a great example.
You make sure that you never watch Family Guy. Please.

I feel uncomfortable everytime Gina makes Terry umcomfortable. Or makes remarks about Sharon. Imagine if it was a man doing to a woman.

like my dude its a comedy
She's the only character I hate in the whole show
@@itsthejavavoid no one said that the actress is a bad person lol theyre talking about the character
Hitchcock is the king of problematic jokes
Him and Boyle
“The secret is eating the evidence” lmao
Every scene with Caleb is fucking perfect
Caleb The Cowardly Cannibal 😂
He would love your illiteration
It could be a children's book! (But shouldn't be.)
Most of those should’ve been Hitchcock just talking in general
Never found his scenes funny I just cringed hard
Didn't expect to see you here Emma, hey.
2:00 "one konk on the head was all it took" 😭🙏
8:29 That's my uncle! He also had a problematic bit on King of Queens (like 20 years ago). God, it's hilarious.
omg coolll
When Jake and Kevin turn into creeps, they look like Akiva from Lonely Island 😂❤
I hate the fake therapist joke so much
Why
@@EmilyM8 jake already had issues with therapy, pulling that would defo make him not wanna go to therapy

ive always wondered what Bill was doing in that scene 5:20
Hey, is it weird that Jane Jetson gives me a bone- LMAO
Also Betty Rubble loool
I felt just fine laughing at all of these.
The last one is not a joke
I love the fake therapist joke so much
so their idea of perverts is suburban John Waters
This could’ve been a video of Hitchcock alone 😂 that man is sick
This is hilarious. Perfectly appropriate
I love this show.
most of these I laugh because of the reactions
"The Secret is eating the evidence" 🤣🤣
Should've included "DAS DOPPELTE LOTTCHEN" "I'm only half"
I don’t know why exactly, but I always hated the kid-eating cannibal joke.

Oof, the therapist one. This is why I stopped liking the heist episodes as the show went on
I had to watch this to realise he said black male
Hitchcock the goat.
The rant at the end feels a tad hypocritical given the harassment Terry faces in the show...
Problematic? They're just edgy jokes bro
I think most of the jokes Jake made in "He said she said" seemed out of place and rude for the context of the episode
One cunk on the head 💀💀
