The setting is basically a compressor, it makes quiet stuff louder. We use compression in every mix we do with music, on every instrument. The release time is how fast it lets go of the transient. On better compressors, you also have an attack dial, that you set for how fast you want the compressor to clamp down on the transient, then the release for how fast you want it to let go. A compressor basically tries to make all the audio smashed into one loudness. If you over compress lets say an acoustic guitar track, the attack when hitting the strings will be compressed down to the loudness of the sustain of the strings after the attack. it can sound horrible if overdone. Some of you have had to of heard about the loudness wars in music, where every song is compressed so hard to make it sound louder on radio then the next song.. it is NOT louder, it seems that way because of the compression they used. hope that helps out a little

I play on ps5, my fov is about 90.
Mw2 still doesn't utilize sonys 3d audio and it shows.
Curremtly its little more than enhanced stereo.
There is directional sound, but its quite weak.
Coldwar had the best 3d audio ever!!
The directional sound was fully 360 degree and very strong!!
I could pinpoint enemies spot on!
Very surprised mw2 is lacking in the 3d audio department.
Took me a while to get used to after coldwar!
90 is a great fov!
I really hope at some point audio gets a redesign or something because it’s definitely lacking in this call of duty version.
If you have a 4090 you can definitely run at 4k
Not at a stable 120fps with DLSS features turned off, and 120fov. Which is competitive settings.
You can definitely run it for 60fps DLSS casual gaming though forsure!
The AI have gone savage in last few days

@iShockin I went into a place where there's usually only a couple AI other day, there was like 15 and they all beamed me
