Thank you for the great and informative content mee Ndeshi.👏🏽. Please allow me to share my experience about being cut traditionally. I think the healing process might also depends on what was cut, if it was oshipa, omushila or eemhalo and also differs from person to person. I personally was cut on what’s called eemhalo and my healing process was actually fast. Of course the pain was unbearable during the process but afterwards it got better. I actually went to work the same day, yes I could still feel the pain but it wasn’t that bad and the next day I could barely feel the pain. Of course we are not the same and our bodies react differently to pain, someone else might have been cut the same eemhalo and their experience wasn’t that light.
Thank you for sharing. You are actually right. Everyone that shared their experiences with me about eemhalo said the same thing. That the healing process was faster. I think it’s the most bearable one of all 3 I guess. Thank you so much.
The society is real broken, thus why we have women comparing themselves with men, even competing with them. I will never advise a woman to do that nor complain that nature is unfair to our mothers' gender. Men were meant to be there caring, protecting their women during pregnancy and nursing. Colonialism destroyed our society, and our homes were never restored again, Men have become irresponsible and inconsiderate, as a result we have women rejoicing when men a cut, at least they finally felt the pain for their baby 😀😂. But guys let us not compare men and women nor motivate competition, it will destroy our society and our children will pay the price. I do not bow down to this kind of spirituality, but for medical reasons i will not hesitant otherwise itandi tetwa. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEOS NDESHI🤝🙏
I like your way of thinking and criticism. You have valid questions and realistic reasoning. It’s only when we have these kind of conversations that we will be able to educate each other and the generations that are coming after us. We need to be able to break the chains of senseless practices and water the roots of the ones that are valuable so we don’t completely lose sight and touch of our culture. We owe this to our kids and grandkids. Thank you so much for sharing your views. 😂

You won't jus get cut when the baby is sick but naave mwene ohokala wiikwete mwene either wuna omushila or oshipa neh. Personally i never got cuted for the baby everything was fine through his growing he is 10 years now but this year ondatetwa omushila which means okwali ndiina mwene. Apparently it's laso dangerous to yourself ngele that owakala nawo efimbo . I m a Ndonga we also do those things. Thank you kuku for the whole information 🙏🙏
@@ndeshishangadi6464 I was always panicking when using the Toilet unene when I m constipated ohandi bleeding after besides that I was too skin and kakwali ndihole kulya,, than when I told mom about bleeding after the toilet she told her elder sister cos she does those traditional things eshi ndayako than I got cutted ,, maar otati oshaadhika shakula nayi that's why handi bleeding after the toilet.
These things are spiritual, otherwise there is no plain or medical explanation as to how does the skin between the genitals and the An*s cause the baby's sickness or how the cutting of it heals. Though what's cut is not limited to Ovawambo, only Ovawambo also some Kavango tribes are cut, that in itself is a big question. Most of these things are beliefs from long time ago, I think it has to do with some of the practices that the descendants of the clans who went to look for some supernatural luck or protection were bound to, same applies to Epasha etc. I will not want my kids to grow up in that environment of beliefs so its my duty to break any chain of connection that may be passed on to my kids from my ancestors who made such a covenant of the spiritual beings. The traditional necklace (Oshinyenye) is the big suspect in this.
I was cut by these meme but my experienced was terrible..After 14 years I'm still traumatized and I told my mom that day that I will never have a second child ...
Beautiful.. Thank you for sharing Mee Ndeshi wetu
